When the blades are half price, that would be a bargain…

        • Yeah agreed. Was look for blades myself as well actually.
Decide to post this up for anyone who either didn't already have a Gillette razor or was looking to upgrade.
          Cheers

          Hi jv,
The Proglide Flexball Manual contains 2 blades for $10.74. Not half price but not too bad.

        • @tukanglistrik:
Jv's hubby doesn't shave. Not sure about jv.

        • ShaverShop usually does decent blade specials.

        • @tukanglistrik:

That's better than the $8 per blade… thanks, I might grab that.

    • grabbed a 4pk of Fusion Power blades @ $15 at impulse counter of my local WW few days ago. Non-power Fusion 4 pk they wanted $19.

  • Just saw these today also, they also have the Gillette disposables on half price.

Just trying to suck you in into their ecosystem so you waste ridiculous amounts on blades…

    • A fool and his/her money etc.

    • Is there a better alternative?

Grab yourself a double edge safety razor, I wasted 10 years shaving with cartridge razors, granted they're good for a couple of shaves but other then that I found them to be very average.

I invested in a $50 safety razor and got 20 packets of packets of blades (5each pack). I find the shaves are a lot closer and feel so much better.

It's not so much the price savings that are good but the quality of the shave after switching from cartridges to a safety razor

I have tried the ones in Aldi. I have room say they are really good and cost a fraction

Straight razor! But you need an hour and Frank Cinatra in the background.. Best. Shave. Ever.

      • You can try Oscar Razor at http://oscarrazor.com.au/collections/shaveplans. Team them up with a Razor Pit and lasts quite a while. Shave about 3-4 times per week. Any questions, feel free to PM me. Hope this helps.

Found on Instagram, code IG-RC-10 for $10 off. So for the 'Lite' or 'Ultra Lite' plan, this means 4 razor cartridge razor blades and 1 razor handle for $5 after discount. Cant go wrong if you want to try.

        • Can u cancel after 1st order?

        • @stockastics: yes you can and reactivate when you want. I still have my 12 cartridges, handle and complimentary shaving oil and gel from my last order. Cancelled after it arrived. Hope you enjoy.

        • @45Troboi:discount code not working

        • @stockastics:
          Any updated code?

        • +1

@albanyson: cant find one..will just have to wait..

  • These go on sale often - it's the blades that never get reduced and that's where they make the money back!

  • How about comparing to Dollar Shave Club?

    • -1

      How about not?

  • It's also all Gillette shaving creams and gels. Basically everything but replacement blades.

    • Basically everything but replacement blades.

Did Epson buy out Gillette ?????

  • And disposable razors as well, which to me is the biggest bargain.

  • I saw Priceline advertising some device that sharpens your Gilette blades…anyone know about this?

  • I saw this on the weekend but quickly checked price of replacement blades and moved on. Even tried the Coles no brand 5 blade shave for around $6 but it's nastier than disposables. Used to use Mach3 but replacement blades kept creeping up, so switched to Schick Hydro 3 which were a bit cheaper but not as good but did the job. Now their replacement blades are steep too. Wish the damn replacement blades were half price or there was a cheaper "useable" alternative.

  • I got the pro glide flexball POWER for $16 on coles offer just few weeks ago this is an amazing deal.

The power version of proglide series is the best IMO, really incredible close shave.

Only problem is replacement blades are ridiculously expensive, especially when compared to other countries. We are getting ripped off big time here. It's difficult to afford this, unless u just steal it from store which is why they have rfid on the replacement blades.
