I got it maybe a year ago now but the lite version. No problems to be honest but that's because i have crap internet. It maxes out my bandwidth which was around 9Mbps.so don't know how it will do on nbn speeds.

There was a period of time when windows 10 came out that stuffed their client, but i used open vpn client and no issues.

looks like a good alternative for those who cancelled with VPN.SH
6.3USD Per annum for 3 years is better than 30GBP a year!

VPN.sh set the example that I fear will be replicated here. The renewal price will increase dramatically and they will hope some people are too lazy or stupid to cancel.

    "All sales final"
    That statement makes me fearful…

Yes I had to argue long & hard with them about getting a refund on a VPN service. What was advertised (Android support, 50+ servers in 20 countries) was all BS, they had apparently 5 servers, on one (NY) actually worked, but only on a PC. They kept referring me to the VPN company, who just ignored emails & support requests.

It took about 2mths & several dozen emails, before they finally agreed on a refund. But they said never again. and so did I!

They rely on people giving up.

      • had my credit card out….then I thought let me read the comments, see if anyone's mentioned a better company/deal. Then I read your comment. Thank you for sharing.

  • I'd stay away.

VPN is not a place to try save some $s on.

It simply will not be up to scratch

Thanks OP, signed up and am happy to have done so. I'm not planning any nefarious activity, simply to take advantage of the Geo-block function and listen to various radio stations I enjoy :)

  • No matter what our experience was with VPN.sh, I think it is still a very good value. BTW I just bought it as new customer and used the 10% discount prompt on website (link), it turned out to be only $44.10 for lifetime VPN. Even if it last for 5 years, who cares you can't get any VPN with these features cheaper than than I bet.

  • Are there any reputable VPN services people recommend? Even if they are priced higher, I'm interested in something that is reliable.

  • PIA private Internet access, pretty sure recommended by others here
