Keep an eye on LG UH770T the 65" version was $2800 at JBHIFI for a one day special about a week ago. The best panel you will find for the price IMO. Has all the latest technology (200hz, HDR + Dolby Vision, UHD, SmartTV and 6* power rating). LG are leading the way at the moment. If you want to be an early adopter you could spend 5k+ and go OLED but I don't think it's worth it yet.

      • What the best panel in the 65-75" but not OLED prices

      • Did anyone post it on OzB?

      • The UH770T looks to have poor screen uniformity though, at least according to rtings:

        • I haven't noticed anything like that. Reviews can be very anal and everyday people will not notice things like that. Also not entirely sure that is exactly the same TV, it probably is but the model numbers all vary between countries so it is hard to be sure. Best thing to do is go to the store and ask them to play some 4k content on the TV - I think you will be very impressed. I thought the picture was better than Samsung which was a few hundred more. And this model actually has Dolby Vision which is normally reserved for higher end models. They don't make it clear, but on the LG website it confirms it. Marco Polo on Netflix in 4K HDR (Dolby Vision) looks incredible.

  • Awesome TV - get one while u can

  • Good price for 3D and 4K

  • Can anyone find the user manual for this online? It's not even on the Panasonic site :(

  • $2k plus for a TV is still very expensive for me…any cheaper options (60-65inch, good brand) available at the moment?
