Could anyone who owns one tell me if these are any good at controlling 3rd party music apps?
I'm looking for a convenient way to have volume and song control without having to remove my phone from my pocket or bag.
I am using one with an Android phone and having Rocket Play on my phone, no problem with controlling music, Play/pause, Next/previous, Volume up/down. also great for other notifications when you can't or don't wanna take your phone out to check them.

Its not in Work Life NAB but the MyRewards page. From there it takes you to telstra ebay which automatically adds 10% discount. Then apply code which brings it to $162

Does that band fit this model? It only says W100 and W110 in the specs and not the W150
I got the W150 and this one fits perfectly. As long as it's 22mm it should fit.

Serious question - what do you use them for?
I rotate between 3 active ones (Gear S, Moto 360, Sony SW3). I've retired the other three (LG G, Samsung Gear 1 and Pebble). There isnt a perfect one out there yet. Would be nice if I can merge the capabililties of the 3 active ones together (LTE, long battery life, WIFI, GPS, Heart Rate, Round face, good looking etc). The closest thing to that is the LG Urbane 2 LTE funny enough.
Just a headsup that this watch wont get Android Wear 2.0

They are most probably clearing their stock as the LG urbane second edition with 4g/LTE calls is coming.
look at buying a new wrist band, like stainless steel, simply purchase a 22mm band and don't forget the glass protector :)

Before I jump the gun and buy this, I was wandering if it's possible to say have my phones connected to my cars audio via bluetooth and control the music playing with this watch? I have a Redmi Note 3 if that matters.
I don't see why not. Phones can be connected to multiple Bluetooth devices at the same time and music controls definitely come up on my Moto 360.
Slight nuisance in the process… order, pay with paypal, deliver to PO Box. Order goes through, followed a couple of hours later by a message saying they can't deliver to a PO Box.
Anyway, now i have to be at the office :P
And… i was happy with how quick the delivery was… but it was sent to my PO Box!

yup, incredibly quick delivery. One note for anyone who grabbed one, leave it on the cradle and install updates for a while. It took about 3-4 batches of updates and doesn't install them while you're wearing it. Seems to be more responsive (and have more options) after all the updates though.
How long did that take? It's sitting at about 20% for a LONG time, then moves back to the watch.
actual update I'm not sure, I just set it going, came back 15-20 minutes later and it was ready for the next update. Did that a couple of times over an hour and all the updates were complete.
I did have to do a hard reset on the watch the first time I tried pairing it with my phone though as it wouldn't connect, after that all was fine and dandy.
Thanks, download took 2 hours (WTF???. It was stuck in a boot sequence after the 2nd download, held the side button down for 10 secs, hard reboot, running fine now.
I was a bit slow and ordered on the 22nd. Has not updated to sent on eBay? Still says available on eBay Telstra store yet says expired on this forum. How long did it take for people to receive shipping notification and the product in hand?
I never received an sent update. I ordered on a Tuesday night and delivered Thursday. Seems like 1-2 days average
