    I am holding out for the UX306UA and transformer 3 pro (which seem to have been released elsewhere)
    I want backlit keyboards, better cooling, USB-C/Thunderbolt support.
    -They are running out the old models.

    Does anyone know how group buying works? would the item be sent after the deal ends as I can see a clock ticking by, or is that just to show how long the deal is available?

    Would it be Australian stock with an Australian Tax Invoice?

        You can claim tax back with a valid Australian invoice over $300 departing Australia within 30 days of purchase if you lodge the claim at the trs desk at the airport before your flight. You must leave lots of time though as ive missed out a few times. Thats what im planning to do if I buy a laptop. Also can claim it as a business expense I think if you get a valid Australian tax invoice and have a business. Im still waiting for them to reply.

    Ended up pulling the trigger despite waiting for confirmation if they can provide a Tax Invoice for TRS. I am hoping it will arrive by Friday as im leaving the country on Saturday and added other items which were good with the 20% off to be on the same invoice.
    Heres the link to the actual item for the sale, if you dont understand the group buying. I think it just creates a special listing for them and you dont need to go through the group buying page if you have the link.

    I was apprehensive about futu_online but I just realised its Shopping Express. I also found a contact number and the person on the other end was extremely helpful, friendly and obliging. Though I dont think they advertise the phone number its nice to hear its a legitimate company that answer phonecalls well, ive found it rare with I.T Companies! So if anyone is unsure whether to buy from this seller, they seem good to deal with so far and I have had good past experiences with Shopping Express.

    Yeah I bought one too. I'm planning on claiming GST back (its actually going to be left in the UK for the next 2 years).

    A word of advice, although it apparently isn't strictly enforced, for claming GST items over $1k should have your name and address on the tax invoice. I sent a msg to FUTU asking for this.

      I received the tax invoice and it has my name and address, and phone number. I signed up to the TRS online so it should be fine. The other thing as a bonus the tax is calculated at the original price and not the discounted price through ebay as apparently its ebay that gives the saving in this deal. I thought there was an error but Im very pleased as it means a bigger saving than anticipated and I bought some other stuff on the same order I would have had to go looking for in stores and not claimed TRS with! I must say theyve been a great company to deal with!

    Received the Ultrabook yesterday, about 2 days from ordering it and theres no problems I can see. Its a good laptop.Im sure all I need for my needs without spending 1000s or being too bulky.
    Futuonline aka Shopping Express have been great to deal with as mentioned above and ive dealt with shopping express before with purchases for TRS and all worked out well. I would definately recommend them in future especially since theyre located in Sydney! All round a great deal if you are looking for this or a similar laptop especially if bundled with TRS and other purchases!
