          Yes, it's correct

        • Yes ,it,s correct

  • Great price :)

Interesting bit of news re: HDMI cables here

  • Very nice price.

  • Rofl, was just going to buy this, and then the package I ordered from the previous bargain rocked up in the mail box.

  • 1.5% card/paypal surcharge brings it up to $5.57 for one.

Good deal. Especially given 1.3 spec (assuming that 'Latest' isnt 1.3a/b).

    EDIT: Description now states '1.3c'.

    • Ha.
My credit card "fee" for the 2 cable deal was 14c.

Still under $10 for 2 of them

  • Nice deal

  • Hopefully will start to see some companies selling HDMI 1.4 cables.
Mainly needed for full 1080P 3D applications but some of the other features of HDMI 1.4 like Audio return channel and Ethernet over HDMI are going to be interesting for people who are up with the latest gear.
Other than ebay there are bugger all choices of cables that don't cost well over $100 for a 1.8 mtr long cable, and the ones on ebay that are labelled as being 1.4 are hard to confirm as genuine.

Anyone know much about HDMI 1.4? All i have been able to turn up is a bunch of specs but can't confirm whether what makes a cable as being 1.4 compatible is just that it passed a bunch of tests or is it actually wired differently? Pretty sure the Ethernet over HDMI certified cables use an extra pair of (previously unused?) wires but just wonder if they have always been connected in just about every HDMI cable but only recently used in the various HDMI 1.4 enabled devices?

    • Too hard a question for a monday….

I am sure the 1.4 cables will be available when there is more equipment that can utilise it, for now 1.3 will do

    • There are 19 wires spaces inside the current range of 1.3c cables but only 16 or 17 are connected (depending on who you order from) and they 1.3c cables will do 3D no worries.

They will not do return audio channel or ethernet.

Also the 1.4 name is to be dropped off completely.

Just to confuse the market a little more we will have:

      Standard speed no ethernet
      High Speed no ethernet

      and

      Standard speed with ethernet
      High speed with ethernet

Anyone who is calling these cables 1.4 is Ok for the moment but that is all about to be stopped!

      Hope that helps :)

      Matt

      • From what I have read ( which could just be marketing FUD I'll admit) HDMI 1.4 is required to do 1080p 3D, but you can do 3D at up to 1080i with standard 1.3 cables etc… What I haven't been able to confirm is the rated speeds these Standard and High speed variants are supposed to handle, from what I can tell the "high speed" is still the same as HDMI 1.3 ie 10.2 Gbits p/s. Some of the super expensive cables that Harveys and good guys are selling have higher speed ratings plastered over them, which I assume is what they have supposedly been tested at, but there's not really any point if the actual HDMI spec doesn't require any more than 10.2
And to add to the confusion I have also seen the cables referred to as Category 1 and 2 rather than standard and high speed.

    got mine:)

  • Great price and a great store, way better than the ezyHD mob.

  • Thank you for all fee back there will be lots of deals from us please wait and see and SAVE $$$

  • hmm, 2m aint so long, an OK price, could get 5m for $7

  • no sorry only 2m on deal at moment

  • Great price for a 2m cable. I just ordered one.

Furyou - if you prefer a longer cable, i recommend you go for a better quality cable (not a cable for $7). There will be hardly any difference in quality for up to 2m long.

  • Hhhmmm, i was about to buy couple of them, but website seems to be down now?

    • Sorry, site is currently down for maintenance, will be back soon.

  • site is back to normal please go ahead

  • Thanks mate. A quick question, is postage still free if i buy one of these AND one of the other a bit more expensive cables?

    • Free shipping only on the 2m HDMI 1.3C cables because other cable maybe with retail pack or over weight if you purchase the expensive cable we need to charge shipping but we still can do free shipping on 2m 1.3c cable for you

  • your website doesnt even say its 1.3c

  • Ordered two for $9.62 including Paypal surcharge yesterday morning. Waiting for them to get sent out.

    • Just thought I'd post again and confirm I've received my cables.

  • is this deal still on?
    i don't see the "option" showing up…

    • Next to the description tab, is the option tab.

  • i just ordered 2x TWO HDMI cables (at 9.48 each = $18.96). But i only received two hdmi cables. What's going on??

    • Contact them. I'm sure they will sort it out.

  • any option if I want buy 3 cables?
