Okay for a grey import. Other models also same price.

I'd just wait for the new iPhone coming soon imo but good price on this too

New iPhone will be a couple of the larger style phones - Apple wouldn't refresh the smaller (iPhone SE) in 6 months after launch.

        • +7

But the SE caters to the market that don't want rediculousy big phones like the 6s, etc.

        • -8

@tomsco: Yes, that market is going to die off very soon. 4 inch phone vs 4.7 inches, the market that can't adjust 0.7 inches isn't worth spending your resources, time and expertise like Apple have for this phone. It's 2016, a 4 inch phone is no longer the standard. The SE almost has the same specs as the 6s in a 5s shell, this is no significant upgrade as compared to the one being released in September (I hope). So save that $700 and be wise about your upgrade.

          @stuhtb:
The SE is accounting for 9% of total smartphone sales in the UK and >6% in the USA.
Regardless of your opinion, it is selling quite well.

I still don't get it….. This is the most pointless phone on the market…
    Zero value for money phone..

    Peace out…..

    • Do you go into other threads offering products you aren't interested in to share your lack of interest? Or is it only iPhone SE that you feel it necessary to explain why people interested in the device are incorrect?

      • More likely to do with the fact that every iphone 'deal' has an alternative of buying multiple similar better phones for the same price. Eg. Three of the new Moto G4's. Three - and still enough money left over for some cases!

        • Hard to squeeze its 5.5in screen into a iphone SE form factor. I have a 5.5in china phone, and I love it's price/performance, but I would like a smaller size. The iPhone SE is expensive because its Apple, but it is also one of the few options with up to date specs (for Apple) in a small form.

      • Just the iPhone SE..

        Thanks

  • $683 is best price I have seen

      Was cheaper before: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/260993
And when you want to take the risk even cheaper here (make sure you read the comments) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/263281

      • One is not viable now and the other is super sketchy. That's why i posted this one here :)

        • +1

          Agree … :-)

Was just responding to eagleanthony that there was a better price available … but this is the best one right now (when you ignore the "sketchy" one)

Let see what Apple announces in September … maybe a new smaller iphone ?!

    $683

could spend it on something better than an iPhone

  • Hey guys, what are your experiences with eGlobal? I'm considering getting the Axon 7 once it hits Aus. Are they legitimate and do they honor warranty claims. Thanks

      • Thanks, I actually ended up ordering one for my mom and it got delivered in 5 days. So far everything looks good and legit :)

  • what bands does this model support? I know the freq are listed but thats not Bands, eg there are multiple bands that are 700Mhz, but on Band 28 is usable in Aust.

    • I'm not wuite sure what you mean, usually the bands refer to frequencies unless i'm wrong.
You just have to match up your carrier bands to the bands on the phone. Here is a site if you need any help

      • in Australia we only use Band 28 for 700Mhz, but around the world there are many Bands that are all 700MHz (all except 28 are not compatible).
        there are Bands 12, 13, 14, 17, 28, 29, 44, 67, 68. - All are 700MHz but only Band 28 is OK for Australia

I assume this phone at 700MHz is Band 28 or is it a different band - Band 12 700MHz and some other bands is what the USA uses so could be that (and USA does not use band 28).

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LTE_frequency_bands#Frequency_…

        • Would be safe to assume so given an 'Australian' store.

        • @rickyygee:
I thought it was all grey imports in the store.

        • @PVA:
I'm not too well informed but if i wanted business and customer trust i wouldn't sell on a '.au' site with phones that won't work in Australia

  • Just got a message that the order is cancelled:
"Your order #2000710xx has been updated to: Cancelled pending refund
You can check the status of your order by logging into your account."

    Oh well.
