    HN had the MDRXB250 at 2 pairs for $34 on 30 June. In fairness to OP, they listed the MDRXB250B..not sure what the difference is with the B model..

    Definitely the Sennheiser, its not even close. Not to mention they are far more comfortable.

  Correct me if I'm wrong but these look like On-Ear (I know the store page says Over-Ear as well).

    The ear pad middle diameter looks too small to be over-ear don't they. There's no way this is over-ear. More like on-ear. I don't know how Sony claims that these are over-ear.

    Curious that the Q&A section of this product on Amazon claims that it's on-ear.

    Also the official Sony AU web page for this model claims on-ear in the specifications.

    So peoples when buying this don't think for a second that it's over-ear. Those Australian retailers are falsely advertising it as over-ear, it's actually on-ear.

      I think that this Australian retailer doesn't know the difference between over-ear and on-ear

      I believe that the thread title will need to be updated to say on-ear instead of the false claim of over-ear.

    Yes it's definitely on-ear and yes TGG got it wrong. Even the official specifications listed for this model on the Sony AU web site says on-ear design.

  Thanks OP, Just bought two pairs with my digital catalogue code so came to $31 all up.

  Hopefully they last the kidlets a month or two.
