  • Is this the same as the citibank one

    • It is the same pass as the Priority Pass lounge pass that I received with my Citibank Signature card.

  • This is a great membership if you are planning to hit a bunch of airports. You can get a free membership via Amex Platinum however you're up for a $1200 fee albeit you're ahead if you use the membership, the points, + travel credit.

    • Same membership but I think the Amex Platinum includes unlimited visits plus a guest without any charge. Could be wrong?

      • Yeah it's unlimited.

  • From experience, Priority Pass does give access to more lounges than the Diners Club card. Also experience from a couple of years ago, if you have free visit credits, you can host someone in (using up a visit credit on them).

    • How do you get the free visit credits?

      • Buy 'Standard Membership with 10 free visits'

  • Anyone interested in this might also want to consider this deal
It's a single visit pass for 15gbp (roughly 26aud at todays rate)

    • 16.50 GBP from the look of it (au$28.50 approx). Been looking at it for a stop in Singapore

  • +1

    Title is slightly misleading.
For base membership it will cost $9 for the Groupon then 50USD for the membership.
    Unless I'm reading this wrong.

    • Oh mentioned in OP as well.

  • So you pay $9 to get joining fee for half price. You then pay your joining fee of $49.50 (baseline membership $99). You then have to pay every time you go to one of these lounges $27. In Australia, the only lounges are in Brisbane and Cairns - with the Brisbane one you don't even get free alcohol. I checked a couple of international destinations I am heading to, Bali and Kuala Lumpar, and Bali is limited to two free drinks while Kuala Lumpar does not provide free drinks. Obviously there are other perks than free drinks, but seems a pretty limited deal to me.

    • KLIA (at least 1 lounge) and KLIA2 (3 lounges) free drinks.

    • I used the lounge in Denpansar Bali this year in April. No limit on drinks or food. But gin and vodka were the only spirits, you then grab your mixer from the fridge. Some unknown brand beer, basic red wine. Food was somewhere between snacks and dinner. We had about an hr. Vodka drinkers had about 9. I'm a whisky guy (which they don't have) so just had a few beers. If I had to pay for what I had individually it would be about $27. Thankfully I've got a citibank pass. If you had to pay..meh! If you are more of a 9 vodkas before a flight person, then u will get value here.

  • Re: BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (BKK). Included in the PPass and MAYBE also through LJacksons reference above (less than $A30), is the Oman Air First/Business Class lounge. Certainly well worth the 'less than $A30' price tag. IMHO better than the Emirates Business class lounge. See https://www.prioritypass.com/en/Lounges/Asia-Pacific/Thailan…

  • This might be worth mentioning: The only lounges in Australia are Brisbane and Carins. There are no lounges in Sydney or Melbourne. I use PP heaps when travelling Europe and it's a great way to save a bit of money instead of purchasing food from the airport or on the plane.

Mine came with my Citibank card.
