  • Nice value

  • These guys seem to have a new deal every week

  • and the rates + flagfall + sms costs would be?

also anyone used them before, how good compared to tpg?

I'm thinking of tpg for $13 i get $150 worth of calls lol!

    40¢ /30sec 35¢ flaggfall 25.3¢sms No Contract for tpg

    • +1

I've been with them for about 3 months now and haven't had a single problem. They're also contract free as for their call rates etc you can find those details here http://www.liveconnected.me/products/Endeavour-20.html

      • what about sim costs?

I know with tpg they charge $20 bucks for the sim card lol!

also anyone know if i can port my 3 number to these guys? and will it cost me money?

    • Neosin - you could also try our Apollo plans if you're after data - here's the link: http://www.liveconnected.me/products/Apollo-10.html

There's a $20 starter fee but NO deposit, so lower start up cost than TPG.

Porting, yes you can port, and its free, though you'll need to check with 3 if there r any cancellation fees

  • if only liveconnected plans include international calling…

    • The only company I know that offer international calling is Virgin…. go with them?

      • Thats not correct, Vodafone and Three offer international calls as well.

        • my bad =] Maybe Virgin was the best value? Not sure what my dad said..

  • So the the monthly cost will just be $10 for ever? eg it won't be $10 for the next month then after that back to $20

    • Zawoooo - that's right - $10 ongoing

  • Hi Newbie here….just wondering:
    1. How long does the extra discount last?
2.Can this be attached with a data plan option for extra $, tried to look for the options but it seems not available?
Any chance anyone can post link to data plan option, maybe I missed it?
    Much appreciated!

  • i want to know too if this discount applies permanently and not just for 1 month

  • why the discount will not appear in the first month?
    not really a bargain..

  • So im assuming the data usage doesnt get included into the cap amount?? and will cost extra?

  • If it is on Optus network, will I get Yes time after 8pm every night?

So you pay $10 to get the $20 plan which is actually a bit like the $49 optus plan for which you get $350 calls…&%$#@?!?

Only in the phone industry… Imagine you go to a restaurant and they offer a $10 meal which is actually $20 but they normally charge $49 because it's $350 worth… LOL Is it only me or is this a very weird practice? I wish they would just adjust their bloody prices already.

PS: to be fair, the $350 call value is actually $700 if you count the internal calls! (which are like totally worth over $5000 depending on the quality of your conversations… this deal could be simply priceless!!!)

liveconnected: I'm not mocking your deal. It's the overall industry practice in general I find extremly odd. I know you're just dealing with what optus gives you and I do respect your deals, which are usually pretty good. ;)

    • True; the general public LOVES value (and so do we; that's why we're on ozbargain) - unfortunately the value here is artificial. The only time you'll experience those call rates is if you blow your cap.

  • If you can do the Apollo 20 for $10 a month, then you have yourself a deal. This one is still good, but I need some data.

    • I second that. DO IT LIVECONNECTED!!!

      • I third that! DO IT liveconnected. Even if apollo 20 goes to $15/month I'd do it!
I have been hanging on for some plans with data!

        • I fourth THat

  • Can rep clarify a few things:
    1) national call 85c/min: is it charged by minute or by second?
    2) live-connected call $400 credit:
    - does it attract flagfall 35c? If so, is this 35c charge to standard call $350 credit?
    - can it be used at any time during the day?
    - is it unlimited call duration for every call until I use up all $400 credit?
    3) IF $350 national call credit still available, live-connected call will charge to $350 standard credit or $400 live-connected credit.

    Thanks in advance.

    • 1) per min
      2) any time of the day - the flagfall is charged to the "bucket" it comes out of - .e.g if calling LC it comes out of LC $400
      3) LC call comes out of $400

its different to the Optus caps which charge one bucket first then the next, which frankly ends up giving you less value. This way, with both buckets billing at the same time, you have access to the entire credit amount.
