I've been getting this offer for the last few years from Specsavers, why is this now a bargain ????

    • Why didn't you post it as a deal 2 or 3 years ago?

I doubt you are a HBF member.

Because it's a continuous offer for all private health funds.

    • I am going with "If you can't see it's a bargain then it must be for you"

    • Different private health insurance, jv.

If you are with someone like HCF, you are used to good rebates. Many other health insurers don't have good deals with SpecSavers. What also differs is that HBF offer applies to the $149 range rather than the $199 range as you get with HCF, Australian Unity, and a few others. However, HBF's deal is better than some.

If you are with HBF, this deal could be beneficial. It's also a good reminder to compare your health benefits across providers. Talk to your dentist about who gives the best rebates. Check for extras like swimming lessons for kids or gym membership discounts.

    • That's what I thought too.

Got it… Didn't pick up the difference between HBF and HCF, so couldn't work out WTF you were going on about DeWalt LOL. Too early in the morning.

This is the long running "special offer" for Medibank, Bupa, HCF, Defence Health, St Lukes Health for $199 glasses

while this deal is for HBF.

    HBF?

  • Also it is good to check your local store website for offers. Sometimes they give 50 off the 199 deal or 249 deal so you can get glasses from the higher range without paying extra
