I use this mouse, like it although the infinite scroll wheel (which is a switchable mode of the scroll wheel) can be annoying because it's unbalanced on some or all G502's. in practise this will mean an annoying jerk of the page sometimes if you use the scroll wheel. The side to side buttons of the scroll wheel are also close to unuseable due to being activated when you use mouse middle button.
I was on the edge of getting the g900 instead … I haven't found the cord annoying though.
There is no way anyone uses 12,000 DPI. I think I have mine at 1200
I do in GTA V when I'm using a vehicle in 3rd person :p
Try using a 4K screen or a triple monitor set up you'll quickly see the need for higher than 1200 dpi
I got my 2 at 40-50 aud ish, just fyi.

after 1 min googling, they are 99% the same mouse tho.
Haha, it's all good, my mate got his g502 proteus core for $50 dollars at Dick Smith as well :) Ye only differences is the end of the thumb rest isn't blue anymore and rgb :)
