Based on the link you provided Domayne has the cheapest price, even cheaper than Officeworks (price match anyone?).

Unfortunately, when clicking on the Domayne link on static ice and on the domayne website itself I'm not able to find the product for the $1015 price.

If the product was available at that price at Domayne I'm sure Officeworks would pricematch. Domayne is part of Harvey Norman I think.

  • But the prices is 1268 @ Domayne

  • They havent listed 128 gigs! Darn!

    • They will but item location will more likely in Melbourne because it's above 1k

  • How long would shipping take?

    • +2

      Doesn't come till next month.

      • Wow sweet should get it over the weekend then. kidding! So early November?

        • Late October-Early November.

  • -8

You forgot to mention no headphone jack

    • There is already NO headphone jack.

    • +9

dude, get over this joke now please!

      • It's about as boring as people joking about note 7's exploding batteries.

      • +1

Apple's courageous behavior to sell more Bluetooth headsets should be pointed out at all opportunities.

I don't think we laud courageous acts enough and we should let everyone know about the heroes that perform these courageous acts!

  • +4

The deal is OK but I need >128Gig….

    Thanks OP anyway…

    • way too small if you intend on using the fancy camera and whatnot for anything. if you're using it for just a phone, save some money and get the non-plus

      • For "anything" - so you literally recieve a non-working device. Wow, that's terribad!

        • Also, be aware about Kogan - you may not get a HK version of iPhone.

Some of my friends ordered with them before (iPhone 5S) and asked me why they couldn't turn off the camera sound - you know what… it's Korean version!

Only Japanese and Korean version cannot have shutter sound turned off without a jailbreak…

You might end up getting a gray of grey import :-(

  • +3

I wish there was another eBay voucher 15% or 20% off…

    • +3

I might buy one if it drops down to $800 with 20% ebay code.

      • +4

You are aware that Dicksmith online business is owned by Kogan? Seconds before any ebay sale the price will be jacked up.

    • It's not 15% off the entire amount, but Groupon have $100 eBay vouchers for $85

      • But you may not get the redemption code before the deal expire, and you have to use the code on single transaction, expire date end of Nov

        • Good point

      • Can we use multiple vouchers in a single transaction?

  • -3

It looks great on price, until…..

    What's in the box
Apple iPhone 7 Plus (32GB, Gold)
    EarPods with Lightning Connector
Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter
    Lightning to USB Cable

    AU/NZ Compliant Generic Charger
    • buy one brew. Very cheap off ebay

    • +1

I dont think thats what they actually mean. the original apple power plug comes with the phone and is suitable for AU electrical current/voltage. DSE/Kogan just ships a Hong Kong to AU pin adapter that you will need to attach on the HK pin power plug before you can plug it into your home electrical socket.

      • +1

The RRP in HK$6588 for 7 plus 32GB, street price around HK$6300-6400

Oversea Exchange rate: 1 AUD = 5.90363 HKD

A$1,115.92 ($6588) and A$1,066.91 (HK$6300) add shipping it's not possible to match that $999.20, don't think it's source from HK stock.

    • +5

Sir, you are not alive if you don't have any USB charger at home.

      • +1

Well, my first computer Apple IIe doesn't come with USB still survive till late 90's, my concern is where they source the phone, a colleague brought from them and fix up in apple to find out it's a refurbish and out of warranty.

        • Just hope its not a Japanese version of the phone (very unlikely though) as you can't silent the camera shutter in Japanese iDevices.

Having said that, I think its too early to get access to refurb iPhone 7.

        • +1

@RockMeLoOn: True tho, just my colleague incident make me well aware of Kogan.

        • @RockMeLoOn:
Due to the amount of inappropriate upskirting photographs

        • You'd think Apple would have some security features to make these unauthorised refurbishes unbootable

  • -1

This is probably common knowledge, but do these ship from HK or AU?

Because if it's HK, do we pay the GST as it's over $1000? (I assume kogan marks actual cost pre discount)

    • +1

      It's below $1000
That's what you pay. No GST. It's been discussed many times. That's why they try to put the price below $1k.

      • Thanks. So no point buying the 128GB version with this sale then?

  • -4

    Worst iPhone yet.

    • -7

They know. That's why they selling for less.just hope people don't take the bait and wait for next yr anniversary model with reinstated headphone jack due to abysmal sales of 7

      • +2

The head phone jack won't come back ….. They make the phones so thin it would be a limiting factor …..

        • -2

It would be such another bad move by Apple to see that in anniversary update. I believe they won't make it any thinner since battery life will be compromised and removing the headphone jack with a new design will be silly imo.

iPhone 6s will cost more than 7 due to high demand; its a given..

    • It's samsung's fault! I mean, with all the mass samsung made, apple don't really need any excited new tech to attract people. they will buy ip anyway.

they's exactly what nokia and moto did ten years ago.

    • +3

No..it's the best iPhone yet, just not incrementally better than the last model. Very little reason to upgrade

  • Is this the cheapest price yet?

    • Yes, Till iPhone 7s plus released.

      • What was the next lowest price?

  • 128gb ?

  • If I didn't already have a Motorola on the way I would get one …..so many good deals now …..hmm upgrade before the phone from last weekend arrives ?

  • Ok so this or a note 7!!

    • +2

Note 7 all the way. Just wait until they sort the bomb threat on the device.

    • +1

Definitely Note 7 if Samsung fix the faulty battery issue, otherwise Iphone 7+ for $800 is not a bad price with the next 20% ebay code.

    • -1

Google Pixel if you want android. Smasung with its touchwiz crap.. No!

      • +1

Touchwiz has improved, and there are ways to make it less awful, but the OOTB experience is still ordinary.

  • +1

So many good phone deals now, I upgrade my phone every month :p

  • Probably not a good buy if you're in a rush to receive it…
"Delivery: Estimated between Tue. 25 Oct. and Mon. 7 Nov. "

  • i was going to get one but having looked at the negative reviews dicksmith has gotten over the last month doesn't make me feel reassured in purchasing it.faulty chargers, items aren't brand new as stated, no stock, faulty items etc.

  • im waiting for the 128GB version 7+

  • -3

Just be mindful guys, in case you dont know, my friend purchased an iphone from Kogan, and it is not covered by AUS warranty. Meaning you cant bring it to apple store for warranty.

    • -1

Does Apple not have 1 year worldwide warranty?

      • Yes it does

        • +1

No it doesnt for iPhones, iPads and apple tvs. They are location specific. They dont always enforce it though. Luck of the draw.

        • @Sharp: what are you basing this on.

the only issue i have found is is local iphones get 2yr warranty (due to consumer law here) and grey imports get 1yr

        • +1

          @blaze:

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD AND APPLE TV SERVICE.

Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.(emphasis added)

          http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/products/ios-warranty-re…

        • @Sharp:

Simply put: you are 100% spreading misinformation. Apple provides 1 year global warranty on iPhones. Have you even looked up Apple's warranty information?

        • -1

@ozhunter: Conducting warranty service is at Apple's discretion AFTER the 1 year warranty period is up. It's funny how much misunderstanding there is around Apple products here on ozbargain.

        • @blaze: you are right blaze

        • +2

          @justcallmeboss:

My comment never said Apple doesn't provide warranty. It says they may restrict it to where it was authorised to be distributed. The part I pasted from the Apple website is applicable to iphones, ipads, and apple tvs. So just because macbooks might have international warranty, it does not mean all Apple products do.

You're the one spreading misinformation. Can you link where it says Apple will provide global warranty?

And Sharp is correct, it's not always enforced. It is at their discretion.

    • +2

Direct from DS rep when asked regarding warranty:

''As Apple products come with an international warranty, you will certainly be covered in Australia for all faults and defects under Apple Care.''

Why don't you ask them yourself instead of relying on your 'friend'.

      • So what are DS trying to say? You have to purchase additional Apple Care to have your phone covered under Australian warranty?

    • +1

Call and ask your local store. You'll find out the truth from the right source.

      • Confirmed by Apple (rang 13 MAC to ask)

        International Warranty:
        MacBook, iMac, MacBook Air.

        Local warranty only:
        iPad, iPhone, Apple TV.

Depending on situation store may consider repair in event of an issue when you are outside your home country however it is completely at apples discrestion. Replacement is not likely when service is sought through Apple when device was not purchased in country where service is being requested. (Based on country of origin of device, tracked by serial number)

  • Edited comment as my sleepy eyes just noticed this was about the plus model.

  • -7

Why from Hongkong. I don't think so its the same quality like Aussie one

  • -1

Is Dick Smith out of receivership now?

    • +1

      No

    • Kogan bought the online business.

  • -3

i need the 64gb 7 plus, hope they post it soon

    • +4

      That model doesn't exist

    • +1

No such thing. Next size up is 128GB.

  • What does the black look like compared to the jet black?

  • -7

Does anyone have a spare ebay code they don' t plan to use please

  • +5

    Final figure for IP7+

    Silver - 20

    Gold- 45

    Rose Gold -80

    Black - 214

  • Anyone received phone or heard ETA from Kogan?

    • +1

No. I don't think any of the plus models have shipped. I ordered the black 32GB matte black on 30th (was one of the first to buy one).

      • +1

I haven't heard from Kogan either. I will report here once I have an update.

        • +1

    • didn't they have estimate delivery of mid Oct-early Nov when they listed this?

  • Thinking of cancelling the order after knowing 32GB version actually performs much slower than 128GB. Here is the article
Considering I'll do a lot of video recording, this is bad news.

  • Anyone received their phone? Or even got tracking number?

    • Nothing here. Ordered the matte black model.
