isn't $100 around the standard price for a 2TB anyway?

    • Cheapest Seagate 2TB Expandion Portable on staticICE is $115.50 and cheapest generic portable 2TB HDD on staticICE is $109.

    • I paid $100 for a WD 2.5" USB 2TB HDD (ebay) in 07/2015 — 15 months ago!

  • Same price at JB Hi-Fi. So the deal is the EFTPOS Card?

These are great for PS4's just FYI

    • Was just wondering, what would you use the hdd with the PS4 for?

      • +1

Games can be upto 50gb and most of them will do a HDD install, video, screenshots etc. It can fill up fairly quickly.
Not sure this one will have SATA connectors though - I guess it depends on how old the stock is.

    • +2

Depends how old they are? Seagate started soldering them so they couldn't be cracked open and used as an internal sometime this year.

Bought one from one of the last Bing Lee eBay sales and cracked it open just fine and slotted it straight into the PS4

        • Nice, any idea of the manufacture date? I haven't opened one since January and that was OK to use in PS4.

        • No idea of manufacture date but I ordered on 10th August

I assume this is the reason why you receive a $20 eftpos card?

Due to unforseen online technical issues we are unable to facilitate any discount automatically in the cart. If you are eligible to receive $20 or $100 off your purchase, you will receive the corresponding discount in the form of a Pay Less payback eftpos card by post within 7 business days. We apologise for any inconvenience.

You can see it at the bottom of your shopping cart when going to checkout. =]

Might just go in-store and get the drive for $99. Need the storage for the Xbox One desperately.

Cheers, I will make good use of this. I was looking for something to use my $25 credit on, but forgot about the eftpos card bonus

    • Just did that myself. Only had 2 days left to use it too, perfect timing.

  • why not pay $139 for a 3TB from Officeworks instead?

    • +2

The 3TB is thicker, and some people are seeking this 2TB for PS4 or XBOX.

    • I've heard the 3tb seagate unit has a pretty high failure rate, very unreliable.

  • Dont think you can use the $25 credit as well as $20 off or as eftpos card

    • This was my experience at The Good Guys Mt. Gravatt (Brisbane). The Asian babe in front of me at the checkout was told that she couldn't use both. She chose the vouchers (she had two).

Great drive, bought one from JB last Xmas for $103.

  • Have HDDs gone up in price? This looks expensive for 2TB

  • Never got my second voucher for some reason.

  • First voucher expired.

Able to stack second $25 voucher to buy Gopro Hero 5 and also got $100 off

    • So, do they stacked, or do they not?

      • +1

First and second? They will if they are not expired. By the time u get the second, usually the first one expires. Unless u get first one with one phone no and the second with another

I was able to stack with $100 off $500 which was not meant to be as per terms and condition
