decent price but a horrible mouse

Holy crap! For that price, I'd want a mouse to work in a very special way on my lap.

I've owned a mamba a few years ago. The side grips fell off within 2 months. Batteries started failing after 3 months. The right click gave out after 1-2 years.

Don't waste your money on this crap.

    • The side grips fell off within 2 months.

Same with every Razer Taipan I've had my hands on.
Solution: Double sided tape from scotch works amazingly well.

costs more than my pc is worth… no thanks…

you owning a shitty pc isn't a reason not to buy something.

The fact that this is a razer product however is.

    • lol jv probably has a hp pavilion.

Honestly what is the point of a 16,000 DPI mouse

    • +1

I guess it allows for more accurate block placement in Tetris

    • That's true. I don't even go past 1,800 dpi on my Razer Taipan mouse.

      • Me too. Has your side grips started to fall off?
I only ever use 8200 DPI (assign a button to it) when I need to turn quickly in a jet (gaming). Haven't done that in a while though.

        • No the side grips on mine are still fine. I have the Battlefield 4 Collector's Edition release of the Taipan mouse.

    • to get pin point accurate on that russian bride youve been looking for.

    • 8k resolution lel

  • Okay - so going to the first site on staticice we see this? Is it not the same thing? I genuinely don't know…but it looks the same…

      Tournament Edition is wired.

      • correct

the wireless version has RRP of 300 epeen pesos

      • More like bore-nament edition amiright guys

  • This is cheaper than the recent ebay 20% off sale.

I was going to buy this but the QC issues with Razer scared me away.

I like the cradle that comes with this. It just makes it easier to recharge your mouse and the lights on it are nice. Wish logitech made a cradle for its gaming mice.

  • I got one in that 50% off razer sale last year. Has actually been good for me and cant fault it. Same with their blackwidow ultimate 2013 edition (before they switched to their own keys). But each to their own.

  • This is a GREAT deal as it comes with an OVERCLOCKED mousepad

  • I had one of these. Was a tad heavy and uncomfortable for me. Bought a Logi G502 instead.

  • Anyone else here can find a better gaming mouse under $100? thx

Razer Taipan is good, I think it's the most underrated mouse..
Although the side grips always fall off, buy some doublesided scotch tape and you're good to go :)

I must have a good one because the side grips on my Razer Taipan BF4 is fine and i use the mouse daily. They must have used a different and better glue on the Taipan BF4 Collector's mouse release.

      Razer Deathadder
      SteelSeries Kana, Rival, Sensei
      Zowie EC, FK

    • +1

Steelseries Rival 300 and Zowie E series are popular among pro players (i'm waiting for an EC-1a sale).

    • Thanks for the advice :)
