Got a ozBargain search alert for Crumpler. Thanks to finderau for his post here
(credit where credit is due)

Went to Crumpler website and found thier list of click frenzy sales here. The Red LLA 3 day pack caught my eye and is down to $129.sign up to the new letter and get additional 10% off or code is travel10. Brings it down to $116.55

Only red is in sale, other colours is still at full RRP at $245. On that basis would easily be around 50% off RRP.

Edit: possibly this may be the older model where the waist strap is not removable. Unsure at the moment because the photo shows the newer model but description is based off the older model.

This is part of Click Frenzy deals for 2016

  • If only it wasn't so loud and red - i've been waiting for a deal on a a crumpler to fit my 14' laptop.

    • Yup but that's the older model (as I have the lla action daypack older model as well)

The no real difference in my opinion except for the removal waist strap. Pockets are the same and You still get lifetime warranty on both.

I was told by Crumpler store rep the new model has a slightly different textile material but I can't tell the difference.

Edit I have to double-check the removable waist with them. The photo shows the newer model but the description is for the older one.

  • tried to add to cart but nothing shows up in cart…..maybe its just me or maybe its out of stock

    • Could possibly be just you. I added the item in the cart just now and works fine on my chrome

      • I am using chrome as well, but no luck adding it cart.

        • Sorry, really don't know how to troubleshoot your issue.

I was signed in on thier website when I purchased mine but I don't know if that made a difference.

Edit maybe using a different browser may help?

          @harkoliar:
I tried using edge, but no good as well, so I tried with my mobile and it worked thanks

  • What I got from this post - the RRP was ridiculously inflated.

  • 30L is huge, i have the 20L Dry Red Number 5, it's the right size.

  • I have this bag. It has served me well on several holidays and work trips, and.now I use it day to day for work. Solid construction, keeps all my stuff dry and the pockets on the waist straps are very handy

    • How much better would you say it is vs generic backpacks? I'm on the fence, if it's night and day more comfortable, I'll probably get amongst it.!

      • Like a cat among the pigeons?

      • For comfort I would say this bag for sure. The waist and chest straps while can look silly, actually helps alleviate stress to your back. Helps distribute weight evenly.

I have stopped using the sling bags due to my current back pain and waist straps helps alot.

      • It's the most ergonomic backpack I've owned. Waist and chest straps are great for securing it in place
