Get 5,000 points for free when you add a supplementary card to your Amex card by telephone only for October 2016 November 11 2016 or around then.

I found out about this by accident when I phoned up Amex to dispute a transaction, and the girl told me about this offer. I'd already applied for a supp card on the website and the girl told me the points couldn't be applied, so I just applied for a new supp card!

You only get the points once, I asked about adding 3 supp cards and was told the promotion would only trigger once.

PHONE applications only!!

I don't think this is advertised anywhere and it's not targeted from what I can tell.

      My NABs have different numbers…..If if supp is free for your cards, you should get one (or more) for doubling up/tripling up shopsmall and other cashbacks :)

      CBA supp cards have same numbers as primary card
      Will get a supp with different numbers for your ANZ
      Won't get points for any of them because they're not AMEX issued (they are bank issued)

    Just scraped in. The guy I just spoke to ("Ace"… seriously) told me the promo ended today. Just confirming only one per primary card. He checked for me and I couldn't get another supp card and another 5k points…

      I was told the points would be credited 6 weeks from the 11th.
      Not because I signed up on the 11th, but because that's when the promo ended.
