This is not the affected model that was recalled and unless you have proof they are selling the recalled model illegally what is the point?
So no it's not something to keep in mind.
The olsen brand of that box hasnt been sold in ages. Now is sold under a different brand name. So its possible that that may be old stock they found out the back. Often what happens when a store is closing.
I can confirm that the stock is not part of the recall. Only the power boards inside were problematic, the one that comes in the box is a totally different model.

None left at Everton park, apparently someone Brodened them last night, driving off with a Ute full.
I saw someone load up his ute with them.. I took that photo after he left, it was from another stash hidden away in the corner where the storage containers are, so maybe the staff didn't realize it?
They're not the same, they are a different brand. I can't remember the name of the brand but the logo is an 'M' (as you can see in the picture). Looks exactly the same otherwise.
Scanned one them at Masters Ellenbrook (WA) and they are $17.50.
I'm guessing the Olsent ones are old and were clearance at some point.
You're right, it's Masterplug. Didn't realize they were priced differently! It's quite a mess now with things everywhere without price tags. It'd be great if there was a way to scan the barcode with a Masters app to get the latest prices… but I guess they wouldn't want to invest into that at this stage!
You said it, it's a mess. This store sold quite a lot over the last week and so they were moving everything into a smaller area.
I just went to the self-serve checkout and scanned the price there, but I suspected it might not be the same price given the different brand.
I bought a couple and they are really well made with lots of seals to stop water ingress. I may even use one indoors to make things look tidy.
