Dyson Vacuum Accessories up to 56% off - eBay "Tick Tocks" Store (Australian Seller with ABN / Lots of Stock)

1000

While hunting for cheap Dyson accessories (which seem to rarely go on sale), I stumbled across an Australian seller on eBay selling a number of accessories for stupidly cheap! Placed an order, and waited for goods to arrive, to ensure it was 100% legit (sometimes things can be too good to be true), but this seems to be an exception to the rule :)

Australian seller with stock delivered out of Sydney - received my order less than a week after placing.

Item Code Description RRP Price inc Delivery Saving
920018-03 Dyson Swivel Hard Floor Tool $59.95 $30.80 48%

908877-09 Dyson Soft Dusting Brush $49.00 $38.60 21%

Please note I grabbed the RRP's and product codes from a variety of sites in a bit of a rush (eg JB / Myer) as I'm supposed to be working at the moment, but wanted to get this posted :)

  • Are you sure you're not a store rep?

    • +8

Absolutely positive I'm not a rep. I just know that Dyson accessories rarely go on sale (having been watching prices for a few months now), so when I saw these for cheap I jumped on them - and having received them today, I figured it was time to share the bargain with everyone.

        Nice try James Dyson

        • +24

Oh gosh darn old chap, you got me! As I have nothing better to do, while sitting here in Britain, in between designing new ways to improve products from vacuum cleaners and hand dryers, to fans and hair dryers, I jump onto the Internet, register on eBay Australia, and sell products at greatly reduced prices. I then go hunting for bargain-sharing sites, again in a country on the other side of the world to myself, and chin wag about these deals, pretending to be someone other than the seller. Tally-ho… I'm off to start work on my next product line - wait until you see some of the smashing ideas I have for the adult toy industry…!

Just an anecdote to add to this discussion:

I bought a bunch of PC parts from various eBay stores during the last big 20% off sale. Of all the sellers (including Futu Online, PC Byte, PC Case Gear and others), the 2 items I bought from Tick Tocks were by far the slowest to arrive - almost a week after all of the others, and 3 days after the "anticipated delivery date" shown on eBay.

I have no complaints about the quality of the products, but they were very slow. Beware of that, if you're in a hurry.

    • Came here to say the same. Took them over a week to even mark the items as shipped.

    • +1

I bought from this deal this morning (7/11). My item was marked as shipped within hours, and got my notification from Australia Post about the shipment.

    • +4

I bought my item yesterday and it arrived 5 minutes ago.

    • +1

So sorry about your experience, we try to ship everything the next day. We have had some issues with Australia Post

    • +1

      Beg to differ.
      they've definately lifted their game.

      Just bought a floor tool
Placed the order yesterday avo and got SMS from AUS post this morning @ 7AM.
item already arrived before stepping into office.

fastest shipping I ever had on eBay.
      Thumb up x 2

are those universal accessories fitting v6 v8 and 59 ??

    • do they sell the V6 power heads separately anywhere?

I have the basic V6 animal but would be good if you could buy the fluffy head or motor head seperate

      • +1

Exactly what I was after….. The fluffy head for my V6 animal.

      • This!!!!!! I've asked Dyson a million times why can't we buy the fluffy head locally. They refuse to give me an answer. (no doubt wanting me to buy another Stick)

    • +1

Yes all except the turbine head and pet groom tool.

  • Too bad they don't have spare parts. Dyson power heads are practically a consumable.

  • Anyone know if the Tangle Free Turbine Head will fit on a DC37?

    • +1

Yeah it will fit the dc37. The item is the regular turbine head for carpets (not mini tangle free), and will work with the majority of recent barrel models.

  • eyah I have a DC34, was looking to be able to make it a stick/floor cleaner

    any suggestions?

    • I have the DC58 from the recent 20% off deal on Ebay. I've been considering getting something like this off ebay. (This link is for your model not mine).

    • You would be able to officially, you can't buy the wand/stick separately if it did not come with one originally. You can only buy wands/sticks as a replacement.

  • +1

Great find OP - got the replacement part we needed and will review what we have at home tonight to add more parts :)

  • +1

Thanks OP, appreciate your effort given that you were supposed to be working. Got a handheld attachment kit.

  • The Swivel Hard Floor tool is really good on our timber floors…should be included with the vacs IMO.

Interested in the Carbon Fibre Soft Dusting Brush but they are out of stock.

    • Swivel Hard Floor now out of stock :(

      • "Swivel Hard Floor Tool" back in stock

    • +1

"Carbon Fibre Soft Dusting Brush" back in stock!

  • +1

    thanks OP

  • Can anyone please recommend me the best tool to pick up human hair - more specifically the missus' long hair?

    Thank you!

  • +1

Swivel Hard Floor Tool out of stock.. bummer

  • +2

Oh wow the kit is a great price since the mattress tool, the hard bristle or the soft brush alone is almost the cost of the kit.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Was looking for a new turbine head. Dyson were utterly unhelpful when I called them.

    • Turbine head for which machine though? What did you ask and what did they say?

  • Got one, thank you.

  • The dog grooming accessory is awesome

Works really well and recommended if you have dogs that shed a lot of fur

    • +3

I was thinking about getting this, but I reckon my dog would actually freak his tits off if I went near him with it. Isn't a fan of me roving around with the Dyson as it is, let alone sticking that jet on his back. Does it not try and suck his skin through the motor?

      • +1

be patient and try enough time, your dog should get used to it. I try to do it outdoors, as it does not appear as lound to the dog. Consider my dog is a golden retriever, it works really well.

        • Thanks, I have a lab and he loves a good bath and a hairdry at those bath stations at service stations, so hopefully, with a little bit of liver treats I can work him into the Dyson. Thanks for the feedback

        • +1

          @dazzywazzy:
Not sure about lab though. The brush is the fine niddle type, which grabs fine hairs better, like a golden. Lab may have more coarse hair. Check before buying.

Liver will help! You can do everything to my dog as long as there is something yummy in his mouth.

  • Tangle free is out of stock :(

  • bah out of stock - turbine head

  • Swivel Hard Floor Tool Out of stock :( :(

  • Ordered the attachment kit, thanks OP. Been wanting the dusting tool for my V6, and the cost of the tool on its own is almost the same price as the kit.
Does anyone want the 1M extendy-tool? PM me if so.

  • damn. Bought hand held attachment took kit last week from Goodguys. :(
Do they have a non ebay website?

  • Thanks been after the tools in the kit and the flexi tool. Paid for 5 for the price of 2!

  • Great price. Paid a lot when I got my hand held tool attachment.

  • Really wanted Hard Floor Tool for my V6 for my timber floor, hopefully it comes back in stock sometime.

    • More stock listed today

      • +1

        Yes ordered one today. Thanks

  • car clean tool kit seems missing

  • +1

Cheaper to get the 4 piece kit at $45.75, than just the soft brush for $38.60……well, better value at least with the other 3 thrown in as well.

  • Anyone know if the swivel hard wood floor attachment fit the handheld dc59?

  • it should…. it works on my V6 Animal

Be warned though. if you are trying to get it to pick up dog hair. The hair gets stuck in the bristles. You have to take it off and run the handheld over the bristles to get the hair out.

  • Yup - I contacted them yesterday to ask if more Hard Floor Tool was going to be available and I got the message approx 30 mins ago that they have added more stock.
BTW, does anyone know if the Dyson Tangle Free Turbine Head would work with a V6?

  • +1

Cheers just ordered the Hard Floor Tool

  • does the hard tool work for dc45?

  • Hard Floor Tool ordered.

  • Dammit missed out on the hard floor tool again when it was restocked :'( Any chance for another restock?

  • Does the hard floor tool for a VC6 handheld

  • Has anyone used the handheld toot attachment kit? Is it beneficial over the standard two attachments included?

    • I only just received mine so haven't used it yet, but the reason why I bought it is because the soft brush and mattress tool are MUCH wider than the two included tools so it will be a lot quicker to do things like dusting and mattress vacuuming. I guess the flexible extension tube will be good for getting underneath things like car seats, and the hard bristle might be good for use on a stove or something that needs stubborn bristles to dislodge like ground in dirt. That's just my guess, but I'm very happy with the price and what you get. It was worth telling my friends who are getting a kit each now!

  • Heads up, none left of the attachment kit. Listing removed for the 20% off deal since 20% of that price would have been ridiculous…

  • Need one Hard Floor tool for my V6, any chance of it being back in stock?

    • Does this fit the dyson V6 handheld?

      920018-03 Dyson Swivel Hard Floor Tool(ebay.com.au) $59.95 $30.80 48%

  • Dammit. Missed out.
