    I got one from telechoice, but with arguement since they said that the 3 month free is not for the iphone package.

    In the end they took off the ads from the shop shelf but still give me the 3 months but not for the next customer.

    so not sure if telechoice still offer this 3 months free bills anymore

            @POWERevolution: called virgin mobile at highpoint vic,the guy said he can give me first month free with 1G free data for the first 3 months.

              @akanie: yup got everything.

              I argued with them since the ads was 3 months free bill with Virgin 24 months plan without any wording excluding the iphone. they took the ads off the shelf afterwards.

    got 1 from virgin store at pitt st near myers sdyney CBD.
    no need to argue, the lady give 3 months free (3*$35) plus 1GB for the first 3 months.
    activated in 30 mins time. walk away with 1 iphone - she doesnt even see my credit card

      Ring many phone stores in SA but none would give me 3 months access fee free :(
      Why this is so inconsistent in pricing?
      VIC/NSW can do it why SA can't do it?

        YES! SA can do it, all depends on who you are able to negotiate with.
        Marion Virgin store today gave me $35*24 PLUS 3 months access free PLUS 1G data x 3 months.
        Catch is must be new customer to Virgin otherwise cant get the 3 months free access.
        I'm lovin it!

          I called several places and although they say it they must be a new customer to virgin, they are able to do it if you get a new number with them.

    Called Virgin and singed up 24 month plan today, plan exists no issue at all.
    Free unlock free after 12 month, otherwise $80. good luck

      Just purchased from Telechoice Bondi Junction Westfields. 3 x 1GB for 3 mnths free. You need to cancel the 1GB data plan at the 3 month mark or you will be charged an extra $15 per month for it, bringing the bill to $50 per month rather than $35.

      The call rates for virgin.
      99 cents per min call rate
      40 cent flagfall
      28 cents sms

    Ok, for anyone still wondering, here's what I found

    Virgin Sales Line
    - won't give you 3 months monthly fee for free. At most, will give you one month, for loyalty (if you were a previous customer)

    Telechoice
    - 3 months free is a store specific thing - some offered 1 month, some offered 3 months.
    - Whether you get any months free depends if you are a new Virgin customer or existing customer. Existing customers are NOT meant to get any months free, however, some stores might do it. (New customer = take up a new phone number)
    - 3 months free will end on 30 June!!!

    Virgin stores
    - Officially, there are not meant to be any months free. The Virgin store I called emailed Head Office and sait the free months did not apply.
    - However, some Virgin stores will offer free months. The same proviso applies - this is only offered to new customers. (New customer = take up a new phone number)

    Hope that helps anyone still looking for these plans!

    I hate this inconsistent deals, got the phone from Allphones and they didn't give the 3 months free. Should have checked the other shops first..

    agree with inconsistent treatment (i got it with 3months free and 3 1GB data at virgin shop pitt st sydney CBD)

    but now im thinking, the call rate is soo high, i think virgin outsmart us and able to tricked sooo many ppl (check whirpool forum) to join them with this. i imagine some (read: alot) people will end up paying more than $35/m coz they exceed their cap limit…

    just think : $160 for 1month = $5.3 per day worth of call and sms..

    I was told this offer is valid until 2nd July and the 1 gig free data offer is valid until 30th June. I was told at AllPhones I cannot get the 3 months free. So I rejected the offer and moved onto TeleChoice they also rejected the offer.

    I know the 1 gig free data expired yesterday. But does anyone think I'll still be able to talk my way into 3 months free data if I can find somewhere that will give me three months free.

    I'm in SA, I might give the Marion store a call tomorrow. Though I fear it maybe to late. I've been umm'ing and r'in all week about this. I never really liked the iPhone but nothing can seem to beat it's large app-store.

      remember this deal give you few talk time..im not sure i can survive wit only 160$ talk/month.
      might need to buy a prepaid virgin sim for my gf

        yeah it seems I missed out, I was going to ring every store and ask but really didn't want to waste anytime. All stores would most likely reject me. The Marion store only had 5 of each color left and said the best he will give me is 1 month free, that's it! His name was Matt and he said they did grant three months free but back then they had lots of stock.

        I'm kind of frustrated and annoyed, really could do with a mobile ungraded but I seem to be so strict on myself getting the best deal since I'm such a low income earner.
