    Just bought one for my wife (whole typically smashes a phone every year without fail). Quality seems good, I like the stock Android experience. Not complaints so far. Camera takes a little adjusting to.

    I picked it up last ozbargain special ($7 cheaper) after I smashed my second phone in a row.
    Been good so far. I like the ballistic nylon backing. Speaker volume is good and loud for when I play audiobooks in the car.
    However, if you don't need the shatterproof screen save $100 and get the newer 3gb Ram, 32gb internal memory, dual sim G4 plus.

  Thanks - bought the Moto X Force for my high school daughter. Should be tough enough for the school bag and have enough battery to get through a day without needing charge!

  I got the phone from last deal and it is great apart from two problems, the usual 810 heat issue and the screen appears to have "smudge"/"grainy" like texture underneath it. Not sure if I have a defective unit.
  It is a bit hard to explain, but I had a similar issue with the original LG G Flex and its P-OLED, went through a couple of them before I gave up and accepted it is just the characteristics of the screen.
  Here is the best picture I could find that documents the problem, although from LG G Flex, I have this exact same behavior:

  Mostly prominent on solid colors.
  If you can live with these potential problems then 100% go ahead with it! You won't be disappointed.
