  • I think we can really build a complete PC using parts from Price Engine )
Anyone know any good review for Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H?

  • ~ crash ~

Thats the GA-H55M-UD2h variant of the board, might be helpful.

EDIT: Main difference seems to be the review board has 4 mem slots the one I have posted has 2 slots and each board has a diff sound chip but are both 7.1 surround…

  • gone….

  • what? already?

    • appears so…gotta be quick, was considering it but gone.

    • That's what she said!

  • Too late for me :(

  • There's only been like 40 clicks?

just kidding everyone!!! dont kill me!!

  • It seems it become available again so better hurry if you want to grab it

  • great budget board for planned upgrades, not impulse buy though as good deal as it is.

  • when I first saw the post I went to the web site, it was all gone!!

the count down timer was 23:5x

    • still available for me.

      • strange, I tried both IE & firefox, all display sold out!

        • I got that problem also last time. Must be a cache thing.

  • Great! Just looking for one as my mobo died. Thanks =D

  • It's not sold out yet. It's $106 at MSY.

    • -1

so you mean paying $17 more & you could get it at MSY?

seem to me that all stocks on pricesengine.com are sold out!

      • I was just letting people know how much cheaper it is than MSY. I think its a great deal because it's delivered too.

  • come back again.

  • Bugger, that's a good deal but now sold out. I'd only just decided to buy a motherboard like this too… Finally created an account here just so I could express my disappointment :-)

    • Cool, managed to buy one!

  • Was hoping for ASUS P7H55D-M-Pro for a similar price, as MSY is out of stock

You guys at pricesengine have really got to fix that only-occassionally-listing-stock issue.

  • Just got one 1.30pm Perth time

  • Anyone got their SSD drives??

    • Make sure you have verified your paypal accounts.

I emailed them and asked why I hadnt got it yet

They have been backlogged with those requests and 'apparently' tried to contact everyone but missed a few.
This was due to the verification issue.

I did it and sent them and email that I had updated and they got back to me sayign they would depatch as soon as possible.

I was worried if I no longer was going to get it, but i think those orders are still on hold

      • SSD arrived.

Make sure to verify paypal and email them

    • I got mine ages ago and I paid by an e-cheque. =/

  • Apparently I can still get these right now?

  • so is this confirmed as sold out??

  • i think Pricesengine is getting clever this time if you look back their last offer

$17 off the best price is good but won't attract tooo many people to flood their server. That eventually stop those idiots backfire with neg vote because they missed out.

    Guys the stock it's back.

  • seems to be more available

Decent price… but dunno if it's worth trying to save a few bucks by buying this online rather than from MSY/Umart etc. What if there is a warranty issue? MBs do fail from time to time. Having to post it back to PricesEngine and wait for a replacement which could take from a few days to possibly weeks?

Unless it's a really significant saving I would rather spend a few dollars more and buy from a local bricks and mortar where warranty handling should be easier, cheaper and quicker.

I also don't like the idea of my fragile motherboard being thrown around by careless Australia Post or other transport company during delivery.

    • Agree with you, the tiny bit of saving is not worth the risk of mobo being mishandled by Aus post CONTRACTORS, and also the hassle of sending it back for warranty repairs. Walking in and out of a store like MSY gives you peace of mind. I'd get it if it was more like 50-60 bucks :)

You don't have to worry about the warranty. It's come with standard 3 years warranty from Gigabyte.

You just simply send the motherboard back to us. We will process the warranty for you, like any other online store.

But if you are prefer to having in locally. it is still make sense. I'm agree with your point, but the warranty turn around time i believe it's not much different between store and online store.

  • I agree, this is really if you want a plug in and forget board and you dont get issues with the handling. If you could get all those boxes ticked I think you would. If i needed the a board at the moment id grab one, its worth the cost just not to have to go to a store and waste my time. Easier to get it delivered to my door.

  • rams on now

    4GB Kit KVR800D2N5K2/4G $99.

  • Unless I am missing something, the 4GB ram isn't a bargain at all.

    • Considering the nearest price on staticice is $118, that's pretty damn good.

      20% + free delivery + no paypal/credit charges? That's a bargain.
