    • Is the Kyro or Shasta better considering that one is made of PU leather whilst the other is synthetic?

        yes

Thanks rawm, nearly forgot about CR!

      • +1

It's easy to forget - I do it a lot, but slowly improving! Cheers.

    • Thanks rawn. I've mentioned it however they may not honour it due to the coupon not being listed with them

  • i cant work out how to click and collect… checkout/cart is glitchy for me

    • "Choose a Delivery Option" is at the top of the screen on the fourth tab (Confirmation). I presume you have created an account/signed in as per the OP's instructions?

  • Bought one of these for $27.99, looks pretty cool

    • I was going to purchase too but only size 7 and 13 available :(

    • I already own this exact shoe. Bought the pair over two years ago. God knows what I paid, but I suspect it was at least double, if not triple that price.

      • How has it held up over the years? Did you get compliments? ;)

  • +2

Yay! The cheap crap is even cheaper now! Woo!

  • +1

Thanks OP! Ordered a Benedict. Have been looking for a suit but nothing too flash so this is perfect.

So good! I got a pair of shoes, some pants and a business shirt for $83! Chucked in some socks for $5 to get free shipping! I needed all of these for work! You bloody ripper mate! Thanks!

YD quality is crap and overpriced. I was told by one of the workers you can get the same clothes at Connor for half the price or less

    • Have you seen how cheap this deal is though? :O

      • +2

It's an excellent deal :) IMO these prices should be their RRP haha

    • -1

YD quality is objectively bad, it's true - I don't know a single person who's had a good experience with anything bought there.

That being said, Connor is just a new level of (profanity) appalling quality.. i've bought two shirts / a pair of pants in one instance (three buttons fell off one of the shirts in the wash, the crotch ripped in the chinos after two wearings) and the other one shrunk a considerable amount despite not being put in the drier. Again, a few other people I also know avoid this shop like the plague for the same reason, so I guess you do get what you pay for in these cases.
      You have been warned, ozbargainers.

      • the crotch ripped in the chinos after two wearings

I personally, would take this as a compliment ;)

        • Those chinos must have been a serious (profanity) magnet. Think Axe commercial.

    • I think at best it is okay for casual wear, but I hope no one here makes the mistake of wearing this stuff to work.

If you want business shirts, buy TM Lewin or Austen Brothers on sale.

For suits, buying from a visiting HK tailor tends to be the best value. Realistically, it's hard to get a food suit for cheap.

But please don't wear that yd, Tarocash or Connor fluro nonsense to work unless you want to be the subject of ridicule.

  • Fix Dress Shoes in Camel are $28 c&c. Leather upper and lining, not that typical nasty pleather stuff

  • +1

Whilst it's cheap, it's only gonna last maybe 2 outings.

    • +1

If you don't like the brand why bother with the deal? I've always found yd to be the best of the 3 (tarocash and conner). Won't last eternity but in general people only dress up once every few weeks anyway.

      • I don't, but because I don't like it I didn't vote. Just an informative post.

I have tried the stuff in my younger days, but now I find the shirts at Myer far better quality, and when they are on special they are cheaper than those 3 stores.

  • thinking of getting a suit.

I could always return it if quality is bad ?

    • For $50 you can afford to give it a go. I've returned/exchanged straight to the physical store before

    • Thinking of getting a suit too, but those colours seems odd wearing to work and polyester in summer… hmmm. But that price!! Hmmm tough decision

DEAL IS STILL VALID. IT IS EXTENDED TO SUNDAY. OP SHOULD ADJUST TIME OF EXPIRY.

Anyway, thanks OP. Purchases 2 slim fit jeans for $55.98. Both my sizes were in stock. My last pair of YD jeans lasted 5 years, not sure why all the negative remarks about quality. Just remember to wash them inside out.

I believe the expiry of this is end of Sunday as it is 1am on a Sunday and the offer still going. Hooray for late night shopping on a weekend. Update please.

    • Not many deals left for the late birds though.
