Hey mate, was having a bit of a dig through Supercheap

    and found this:: http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/BonusBuy/sca-2500kg-trolley…

its a combo deal? for 1X 2500Kg Jack and 2 Car stands. Anyhoo, thought you might like :) not sure about SCA as a brand tho. but for price. not bad deal

    • Cheers for the deal. Toolpro is the low profile profile model for low vehicles.

      • Ahhhh so for lowered cars. Hey u wouldn't happen to know. Have a 370gt Skyline. Would the other for under it at all?

If your car is standard height, the SCA 2500kg version should still slide under. But it you have side skirts or if its lowered, you will need to use the standard scissor jack first to give you the clearance so you can fit the hydraulic one underneath. The Toolpro should slide under even with the car being lowered and side skirts. ("should"

A good $1 item to get AMEX credit can be threadseal tape or sandpaper.

  • Just a note on this low profile trolley jack, sometimes for a large car/SUV (if you have multiple cars, not just low profile ones), the max height (375mm) would be too low to be useful, i.e. you'll have to jack both sides (more dangerous imo) rather than front and back of the car. The other jack as mentioned by Kossac would be more useful in that regard, not to mention a higher weight loading.

  • Another option if you need greater lift and want the jack stands too:
Low profile 2000kg with maximum 455mm clearance
    &
    Jack Stands 1.5 Tonne
    $188.00

  • hey guys
I bought this on sale a few months ago and returned it.
I have a Honda Prelude 1997 VTI-R and wouldnt raise my car high enough for me to be able to put jack stands underneath.
    Just a heads up.

    • Good point.
This is what MAX HEIGHT looks like

    • Had a 5th gen with OEM front lip + Honda Access Showa suspension (~30mm drop) and a SCA standard jack just fitted if you drove up on some wedges. Stock suspension or no lip and it would've fitted fine.

  • You guys better take advantage of this deal before they jack the prices up

  • Don't bother, get an Arcan Jack. Pay for quality.
Last thing you want is these rubbish jack failing. It's a once off investment.

These are actually pretty good quality. And for the record, having a failing jack should it occur, shouldn't ever be life threatening - you never "hold" a car up with a jack - the point is to raise it up so you can get a better option to hold the car up - like ramps or axle stands.

      • And for the record, having a failing jack should it occur, shouldn't ever be life threatening

This. Very solid advice, don't gamble with your life people!
