No-contract SIM only is 4GB for $40 or 8GB for $50.

I am getting 12gb with unlimited international calls with Telstra for $50 per month.
how did you manage it?
This was when there was an Optus deal that included 15gb and people on here managed to get it matched with Telstra through their retention team
so in other words nobody else can get that deal now.

They also have a new plan for the S7 which I think is a good deal.$55 per month for the Galaxy s7 with 4gb and $100 credit.
I wasn't sure, I was on $50 plan and was getting only 3 gig of data. I called to check if they can do Upgrade deal and a very nice lady offered to move me to a newer $50 plan which has 4 gig of data. So win win, got 1 gig without paying anything extra.

You are better off going on their month to month plan. You can either pay the same and get 8gb or pay $10 less for the same data. Not really a win win if their normal offers are better.

I think a few months ago they were offering month to month $40 with 12gb of rollover data. My wife and I are on that.

They still have that. It's on the page that you linked. And it's also what I mentioned, with the exception of not speaking about rollover.
Dude read the deal, it's only for the existing customers who are locked into old contract with virgin,
I did this 1 week ago. So I ordered a Z5 Premium last month. It was $50 a month which included 3gb of data. I then went online to 'change plans' to the new $50 4gb deal. So I got an extra gig to use now.
Shame the month to month is getting absolutely smashed down to bits. Last year they had $40 for like 10 or 12gb
Now it's $40 for 4gb. Back to trapping customers into 12 month plans I see
Cheers mate, just swapped over my current $50 contract with only 2GB (how I miss my free 1GB guvera bonus) to the new $50 with 4GB. Bit of a lazy tax, they should just upgrade you automatically!
