Franziskaner Hefe or Dunkel Weissbier 4x 500ml for $15 Click and Collect @ Dan Murphy's

200

Could be a good last minute addition to your Festivus beverage list. To go with oogabooga's Weihenstephan deal, Dan's have an online only special on another great German Wheat Beer.

4 x 500ml for $15

Both the Hefe and Dunkle are available.

Stock may fluctuate depending on your store. Holland Park was low, but I ordered 4 of each from Dan's at Woolloongabba to click and collect and got the confirmation email about 30min later.

Happy Festivus!

  • how does this brand compare to Weihenstephan?
    Weihenstephan varieties are cheaper by the dozen and all taste great, not sure about those Alkoholfrie ones.
    Highly recommend them https://www.danmurphys.com.au/dm/search/dm_search_results_ga…

    • I've only tried the Hefe at the Bavarian and it was comparable to Weihenstephan so giving them a go out of the bottle to see how they go.

      Also not sure Weihenstephan is actually cheaper by the dozen (unless you want alcohol free, and no one wants that):

      Weihenstephan = 12 for $55
      Franziskaner = 4 for $15 x 3 = $45

    • The "Alkoholfrie" (should be Alkoholfrei) is cheaper, but it means "free of alcohol".

  • What is the normal price?

    • Not 100% but I think they're usually 4 for $20 like the Weihenstephan. If anyone knows, please correct me.

      • +1

        I just saw on the website - $5.49 per bottle so a saving of $6.96.

    • $75 for 20 normally, so $15 for 4! unless it's 12 a case NOT 20/case as the link
      where're the savings then?

      It's 20btl/case here http://www.beercartel.com.au/franziskaner-hefe-weissbier-dun…

  • Great deal, oh yeah! 😀

  • Not sure, what's going on there, but it shows as Online Offer for me with click and collect unavailable.

    • try changing stores or Weihenstephan :)

      • Tried 3 different sores. No luck.
        Weihenstephan is being sold at $54.96 for 12 bottles. How do you get it for $43/44?

        • follow link - 1st choice with $10 voucher :)
