Still nothing for Yoga 910.. will have to start looking at alternatives I think.

    • +1

Which unique attributes belonging to the Yoga 910 appeal to you? I'm sure the Ozbargain community can help find those alternatives for you.

This laptop is rare to find, 14" screen with full metal case but only 1.38Kg, 15 hrs run time is great and option for needed 500gb ssd, finger print reader is a must after you start using it. On the last model, it's build quality especially the hinge is really solid and last 2yrs heavy use. It's the laptop meet every specs for high demanding peoples.

      HP Spectre X360 perhaps.

    • +8

Dammit, that's exactly what I'm after

edit: Alright, done some research. if you want a Yoga 910 then best bet is to ignore the 5% DEALS coupon and:

Let me know if I'm missing out on any other offers

Most products are still cheaper at resellers at the moment. Here's an example deal.

    • Where's the ThinkCentre M700 in this deal? I think I missed it.

      • Ummm.. "+More" Voila! there you go! Its ok, such things tend to get missed quite often!

        • Evidently I don't know my synonyms very well.

      • +2

Dont get me wrong mate, This is a great deal, but on selected models only. Be sure to shop around at resellers and you will be surprised to find better deals than Lenovo Site.

Bonus 7.00% cash back through Cash Reward too.

  • ThinkPad Yoga 460 - i7 with QHD display- anyone got one ? what are they like ?

I don't understand why the Lenovo "sales" go this positive. They aren't really sales. The rrps are ridiculous. The Dell XPS 13 and the HP Spectre X360 are far superior laptops than even the Yoga 910 which is Lenovos best and never on sale.

    • +3

I think X1 yoga is better

    • +2

Perhaps it is because OzBargain is one of Lenovo's corporate clients.

  • Anything like an i5/i7 Yoga but with dedicated graphics worth speaking of?

    • +3

Microsoft Surface Book. Very nice but very expensive.

  • Hi Ozbargain Community, not sure if this is the best place to post my question but fingers crossed…
My Toshiba Satellite U50D-A died on me recently (motherboard failure), so I am on the market for a new laptop (budget approx $500). I mainly use the laptop for emails, word docs, light web surfing, FB and YouTube, transfering photos and videos from phones etc. Toshiba suited me fine until it died. Lenovo idea pad 300(15), $499, is within budget and seems to have similar specs (?).
Is the Lenovo as good as it will get, in the next 2 weeks? Or should I be waiting for the official boxing day sales and if so, what brands/models should I consider? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Look at thinkpad E series. Cheaper workhorse

      • Thanks siiking, Will keep my eye on those. E-series don't seem to be dropping their price by as much atm.

  • +1

With all their sales/fluctuating prices does anyone know if they have a price guarantee? Looks like I've ordered a 460 a month ago for more expensive than what it's now…

  • +1

Kicking myself I didn't order TA's last deal - ie https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/282085 $20 less for the E470 and with twice the RAM :(

  • +1

How about this one for everyday light use? Seems all good except 4GB ram. It will be $699 on Christmas day from shopping express.

Not a huge fan of these format of listings. Such as - which one of these 5 laptops is the bargain?
What if one is a bargain and the other 4 overpriced - which way do I vote?

  • +2

Beware of the shipping estimates. Mine from the prior deal 2 weeks ago is looking to be a month longer than stated due to them being "oversold".

  • Is YOGA 900S (12") at $999 a good laptop to purchase for a high school student (yr 7 in 2017)?

    • +1

It's fine for normal educational purposes. While it looks extremely portable, the processor belongs to the 'mobile' range, so it will struggle to do any intensive tasks.

      • +1

Im pretty tempted as well, although keyboard sounds pretty average from reviews. Cant get best of all worlds, just not sure if this would be a deal breaker or not.

    • +1

Out of Stock, chat confirmed no more.

      • Ok, end of confusion then. Better start looking at other options.
        Thanks all.
