  • I lost 2 mi band 1, how about mi band 2?

    • +12

I think this one is just as easy to lose

      • +1

        Yeah I lost mine

      • +2

        thanks.

      • +1

lost mine in bunnings as well

    • +1

When you say you lost it, did it pop out of the band?

      • +3

yes, but band is still on wrist.

        • +1

          zero steps then, huh?

  • +1

    Thanks OP bought one….

  • +1

How good is the sleep tracking op?

    • Seems to be accurate, only started using it this weekend

    • +2

i bought it for the sleep tracking and it's pretty decent in terms of how many hours slept/awake…

in terms of deep vs light sleep - I'm not sure how accurate it is, but seems to do a good job too.. for the price, cannot fault it

    • +1

Not as good as the 1S imho but might just be my unit. OK band nevertheless for the price.

      • +1

I've had someone else tell me that as well. I use my Mi band exclusively for sleep tracking. I think I'll stick to my 1S for now.

        • +1

Yeah I'm thinking the same if I can get used to wearing it on the other wrist, I still want a clock on my left one.

        • @decr: I'm walking around with my Mi band on the left and my watch on the right. I felt weird at first, but I got used to it in a day or so.

    • -6

Terrible like any other fitness band claimig to track your sleep. It's easy enough to go along with it and pretend though seeing as your unconcious!

      • +5

Unless you are trolling or I'm understanding you wrong, I disagree. I had huge doubts about all this sleep tracking business and wearable computing all together but after the 1S band I have to say that was spot on. It tracked me being unconscious perfectly fine, tossing and turning as well as getting up during the night. It was so accurate I was blown away (as I thought it would be crap), which makes me feel like going back to it from the band 2 now.

  • +1

    great deal

  • +1

Nice deal hoping to get it in my mail when I come back from holiday lol.

  • +1

    Thanks OP… ordered two.

  • +1

Did they fix their bad firmware issues that screwed a heap of users back in October?

    • +1

They need to make one with a mosquito repellant. Bastards keep waking me up and leaving nasty surprises in the morning

  • Coming as AUD 27.90 for me

    • +1

you need to refer to step 3
      3. Apply code and on the next page redeem the 140 points
      4. Remove shipping insurance and tracking number
It worked for me 5 mins ago

      • Even after applying the code, I don't the option to redeem 140 points. I see only 30 gpoints in my account.

    • +2

Don't forget to use the points for making an account/setting up profile, it's $27.90AU before using the 140 points, $24.11AU after.

  • +2

Thank you. Could get 130 points only. Good enough. Ordered one AU$24.38

    • +2

10 points for adding profile picture

      Not clear from instructions.

      • +1

trying to squeeze every penny, but can't find the link to update profile pic. Can you please point it out to me ?

        • +1

From the link that OP posted, update basic profile, there should be a profile picture.

Just click that and should take you to where you can update profile picture.

          Hope that helps.

          Happy Ozbargaining.

        • +2

top left where avatar is supposed to appear but it only gives 10 points.

        • +2

          @aik:

Thankyou !! boosted my 130 points to 140 and saved me those crucial cents

  • +3

There's a better app on the Windows store called "Bind Mi Band" which is far superior to the Mi Band apps for iOS. If you own a Windows phone and are inclined to by a Mi Band, consider it.

  • +1

Good price, better than buying from Xiaomi direct…

  • +1

Thanks, got one for the price you listed.
I was quite impressed with my Mi Band 1 until I fried it, been holding out for a good price on the 2.

    • +1

How did you fry it? 🍳

      • +5

I used one of those 5 usb port block chargers, think it supplied too much power to the little bugger.

        • +2

          Interesting.

For reference; you can use a charger that outputs more current than needed, however you can't do that for voltage.

Thanks for letting us know, I probably would have charged through my block charger as well without thinking about it.

        • Did you mean "BlitzWolf 40W Smart 5-Port High Speed Charger "?

I dont think Over-Amperage will do any harm to the device as long as the Voltage is about the same.
If the voltage is diferent, I think electronic device can tolerace up to 5% difference but it wouldnt be reccomended

  • +1

    Incredible value at this price.

  • +1

Followed the instructions to get the exact price listed above. Bought one, thanks OP!

  • +4

    20% cashback too :)

    • +1

      Nice pick up

    • +1

I noticed that after buying using USD that the CashRewards cashback thought it was in AUD, so perhaps it is better to buy for AUD on the Gamiss site for slightly better cashback.

  • +2

Thanks OP..Couldn't resist..Pulled the trigger this time..

Oops forgot to use cashrewards cashback

    • +2

      I did the same thing.

Just go to where your orders are and click cancel, should work, however I realised before paying.

Worth a try for the 20% though

  • +1

Whats their shipping timings like ?

    • Always been about 3 weeks for my orders

  • +8

I've lost my Ozbargain edge - I could only get it down to $24.65 and couldn't be fagged chasing the other 54 cents. Sorry.

  • +1

Thanks heaps OP. was looking for one. Bought one $24.38.

    • +1

Did you use 28 degree card?

It showed $24.66 on my card.

      • +1

ok, got it for 24.11 now. make sure you select AUD on the website.

  • +1

    Thank you OP, bought one!

  • +1

    Cheers OP.

  • Not successful for me - check out at $35 after applying G points and first time discount, unchecked the boxes. Help please!

    • +1

Apply HAPPYNEWYEAR to the cart only, then proceed to checkout and redeem the points. Also remove shipping insurance and tracking number.

  • +2

Thanks, OP. Followed instructions, got it for $24.38. Just in time for the new year's resolution.

    • If it is heaps cheaper

    • +1

I'd be skeptical if they're genuine as Mi Band 2's aren't that cheap. LPT for anything; if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

    • +3

Look at the seller's feedback - only 29 ratings yet a member since 2012. All the feedback is from private sales with most of the buyers having a rating themselves of less than 10. The current item listing also has all the terms/conditions/refunding information removed from the original listing (see the bottom of the page). To me it looks like a copy & paste listing scam - the T\C's of the original page seem to be word-for-word from this listing. Seemingly no feedback has been given by the 30+ people who have bought the Mi Band 2 from this seller, all within the last few days, so it's not possible to tell if it is legit. The price doesn't seem legit.

      • +1

looks like a scam too me, checkout with PayPal is not working for me, then ebay checkout gives me Credit card or debit as an option. :|

        • +1

I tried, and paypal working for me. But I did not buy it.

Another comment said, $10.99 from another seller. So cheap.

        • @sunaus: Odd, maybe i will try again later, thanks.

      • +3

I have imported these new model direct from xiaomi through 1668 reshipper
xiaomi does not sell these this anywhere near as cheap as that one, anything below $25 is 100% no chance definitely fake, and I doubt their wholesale prices are low enough even for big bulk for OP's deal to be legitimate but maybe a loss leader or due to them not expecting people to combine offers in this specific way. as far as I know on ebay only the listings around $AUD 35+ are legit

because this product has just been released xiaomi are actually doing stock rounds where you preorder for a shipment for 2-3 months later, so yeah the wholesale price is currently fairly inelastic

    • +1

      theres heaps fake online

    • I just ordered one for $11. The listing claims the item is a 100% genuine however at this price even i have my doubts. I made the payment via PayPal so i can claim back even if it happens to be a fake listing.

  • +1

    Thanks Savas, got it eventually.

  • +1

Thanks. Grabbed 1 for a mate. My one from GB is going good. Used about 20 days and it's on 30% battery.

    • +1

What do you use it for?

      • +1

Mainly to check time and track steps/calories. More steps taken = more motivation to get fit/lose weight.

  • +1

    Thanks OP ^same as above^

  • +4

Thanks OP! Interestingly on the PayPal screen the total comes to $18.65 yet my PayPal account has definitely been deducted for $24.11. This happened on the 2 separate orders I purchased. Anyone have the same problem? Can also confirm cashback of $3.57 on each order. $20.54 each is a BARGAIN

    • +1

Me. Without looking into it, it may well be an exchange rate thing.

      • +1

Thats what I first thought but the transaction is definitely in AUD. The paypal checkout screen says $18.65AUD. It's no issue really, I just found it odd.

        • +1

I had the same thing happen when I ordered mine from somewhere else, at one stage during checkout the page shows the amount in USD just prior to paypal and when you get to paypal to actually pay for it it's in AUD (or after payment, can't remember now).

It was not a problem though as the price was correct, just confusing.

    • I had the exact same thing happening during my transaction. What's more interesting is the receipt they sent on email shows the subtotal to be 43.41 AUD for some weird reason.

  • +1

    Got 2ea, thank you OP.

I feel the website is somewhat tricky… looks cheap and copy and paste from somewhere else… Let's see how long I will get these as my new year gift for my gf.

I'll keep you guys updated once I've got them.

    Thanks again.

    • +1

maybe next year they will arrive

    • +2

Updated, got mine on 25/01/17 so… 3 weeks for me…

      • Excellent, thanks for the update.

  • +1

Thanks OP. All worked well to place order. How does the cashback work?

  • +2

great deal… if only i can get multiple in a single transaction… oh well.. guess i'll have to open multiple accounts :)

  • +1

Got one, was tricky but I got there..

  • +1

i have metal alergy and look for a watch with plastic or rubber skin-contact part. i assume this is the one and i clicked. at 24.11 plus 20% cashback is great deal. Thanks OP.

  • +1

Thanks, bought one after hearing good things after my brother bought one recently. But I was wondering if there were legitimate replacement bands available elsewhere, or they never sold separately? I always see unofficial bands, but could never find the official ones.

    • +2

I have bought the $2 ones on eBay from China and they worked perfectly. I ordered them the same time as the Mi Band 2 from GearBest and they arrived first in about 3 weeks.

  • +1

    Thanks

  • +1

    Thank you !
