        Cheap ass

The politically correct term is OzBargainer

      • Oh yeah I would need Delores to my house as well

        • That's racist dude, racist… and you are not in America!

  • Man, I would buy that just to keep as a spare.

  • Sounds silly but it might be smart to buy one and store it away until they become collectable.

      so 20-30 years

      • Yes. Old man tuzii will be like "Gees that Tasmaniac was wise" !.

10 years will be enough for the price to go into the stratosphere on this hardware, I reckon. Brand new? Definitely.

  • Good for media player?

    • No. Buy an Android TV box.

    • PS3 is OK, but the xbox360 is very picky about the formats it plays.

  • I feel like these are still overpriced. Xbox 360 is now 12 years old.
Kmart cleared them out 2 years ago for $100.

Plus you'll need multiple external drives to play proper games like Halo, GTA, Battlefield on these 4GB units.
Put the $100 towards an Xbox One instead.

They are great for JTAGing and installation as the guts of a home arcade machine build.

    • 12 years old?

      Now I feel really old…

    • I've never understood the 'so old' arguments (and probably never will).

Every platform has its great games, even the original Game Boy. In order to play the great games, you need the platform (or you need to roll the dice with backward compatibility on newer hardware). Me, I'd rather just have the original hardware rather than half-baked backward compatibility. It will probably use less power too.

      • The 'so old' argument is regarding the price. This is decade old technology that was on clearance at Kmart two years ago for a cheaper price.
I feel it's reasonable to expect it to be cheaper than this at this point.

        • I don't think it's reasonable to expect a cheaper price than a one-off clearance price (which we often see to move lots of stock quickly to make room for something else - both supplier-side and retailer-side).

I think this is a reasonable price. It's a shame it's not Australia-wide. Plus the exchange rates today are totally different. And so is probably a lot else…

  • can anyone from Adelaide buy this and send me? I'm in sydney.
I'd love to gift this to my 4 year old nephew

    • I've got one pm me

Ever since I got an Xbone and picked up a decent stack of BC 360 games, I've realised even more so that this console (by which I mean the 360 and PS3 as they're largely the same library) is really (profanity) great. I love my PS2, I will never love any gen more than that one in all likelihood, but (profanity) man, the PS360 gen had some gems.
