If you can hold out the dell outlet often gets these in and are now priced at around $211 'as new'. This usually means an unopened box (at least it has for my last two purchases). You also get the standard dell warranty and 21 day returns.

Standard warranty? Sure? DFO is normally only 12 month.

I stand corrected - yes only one year instead of the standard 3 from dell.com.au.

Too expensive, this is the regular price in many cases.

  • Isn't this normal for a 24" monitor?

I have one of this monitor. All I can say is don't bother with this and save your money. I like this monitor while it's working. But when it's not, it's bloody frustrating as there's nothing you can do to get the display working. Google U2414H problems and you will see a number of people with the same issues.

  • The U2417H has been as low as $244 for As New from the Dell Outlet if your prepared to wait for one to appear.

Don't understand why Dell still sell the old 14 series when the 17 series is the latest with better features.

    • The U2414H has an additional HDMI port, and a dedicated DisplayPort out. It looks like they both have audio out if you want to split off the audio from a console.

Edit: My U2414H from the dell outlet was still $33 (nearly 15%) cheaper than $244.

  • The U2417h is $249 on the Dell Ebay site.
With the 20% ebay cashback, 1.xx% cashrewards, etc, you can probably do better…

      That's E2417H, not the Ultrasharp.
