    Cost per 30 seconds is 3 times that of Virgins Bean counter plan.
    Wouldn't call this a bargain.

    Beancounter is not as good value as it charges per minute. At 10c per minute per plus 25c Flagfallor min call cost 35c.

    So at 30c minimum call cost Woolworths Everyday mobile minimum call cost is lower. Plus on their Chatterbox plan you get Bonus credit everytime you recharge so the real call rate is halved.

    We just switched one of our low call mobiles from ISIM (Optus) - which closed last week - to the TPG (Optus) Mobile Pay As You Go Budget Plan @ $1 Per Month - No Contract

      TPG requires a $40 one-off non-refundable payment for the SIM card.

        The SIM charge is $20.

        But there is a REFUNDABLE $20 security deposit required which is returned when you cancel your service.

        "Mobile Deposit:
        At the time of registration, we debit $20 that is kept as a Security Deposit and used to pay for any excluded or excess usage outside your cap (for Cap Saver and Talk & Text Cap plans) or all usage (for Pay As You Go plans). Excluded or excess usage means any calls, text or data that go either above your Cap Value or are not included in your Cap Value. Once your deposit goes below $5, we will debit a sufficient amount from your bank account/credit card to top it back again to $20."

    Well its pretty good value if you just buy the $2 Sim and use it once…

    $32 buys you $130 of credit @15c per 30 Seconds/15c flagfall +
    15c texts

    So that's ~7.5c per minute with a 3.75c flagfall + 3.75c texts

    Not a bad deal for one-time use, yes…but still not as good as the deal a few weeks ago:
    $2 sim + $10 recharge ($20 but at 50% off) + free $100 credit —> $120 credit for $12.
