    any reviews on these?

Looks like a nice price, then I remembered: Mytopia are the same outfit as AGR Machinery/Edisons from memory.

  • Really looking to pull the pin and get some of these - any reason to avoid Mytopia. The price is definitely good.

after sales service of this mob is less than ideal. google AGR Edisons Baumr, etc

      for starters:
      http://www.productreview.com.au/p/agr-machinery.html
      http://www.productreview.com.au/p/mytopia.html
      http://www.productreview.com.au/p/edisons.html

and then read whirlpool and ozbargain, eg: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/286720

however, given this is not a power or petrol tool, then it may be OK.

      • Ah ok thanks for the information. If its after-sales issues then fingers crossed the product is of quality and i dont have to deal with them.

For the price i am willing to give them a try for this winter - they show pretty favourable reviews (there is 13 on ebay and 60+ on the mitopia site for this product). Quite cheap comparing it to an equivalent bunnings one at 598!

Also if you add 2 to your cart you will get a further 5% off FYI.

        Thanks OP.

If its after-sales issues then fingers crossed the product is of quality and i dont have to deal with them.

After sales service is only part of the issue, they sell the cheapest rubbish they can find and don't back up their warranty knowing that majority of people will give up and throw it away.

they show pretty favourable reviews (there is 13 on ebay and 60+ on the mitopia site for this product).

Because some people write feedback as soon as they get it and can't change it and they were offering inducements to write reviews when the products arrive as well.

Quite cheap comparing it to an equivalent bunnings one at 598!

There's a reason why they are so cheap, they're rubbish and they provide no support. I wouldn't be risking a fire by trying to save money and you may get more warmth then you desired.

I need one of these cos my place in QLD is not quite cooking me alive yet but this will top it off and crisp me up nicely. I'll be able to eat one of my own limbs for dinner tonight..

Heating the outdoor air is a terribly inefficient use of energy.

  • Thanks OP, bought 2
