EVGA GTX 1080 FTW ACX 3.0 for $817 + Shipping (Plus Other Brands) @ Newegg

70

Hi all,

Looking to upgrade my GTX 780 Sli since I've been having issues with one of them, came across these cards for a pretty good bargain.

PNY GTX 1080 for $817 + shipping

ZOTAC GTX 1080 AMP! edition for $816 + shipping

And of course the title EVGA GTX 1080 FTW for $817 + shipping

Not the cheapest it has been (approx $780 for local stock on ebay) but it is pretty good if you can't wait. Just a heads up, there was a bit of an issue with the EVGA cards before about the overheat but you can contact EVGA about it and they will send you a cooling solution that you can install.

Enjoy guys!

shipping to my postcode is $73.22 which brings the total up to $886.22. You could just go to your local MSY and grab the ASUS Turbo model for $849

omg the overheat issue has been fixed for months now so unless newegg is selling really really old stock, its not an issue

It's just a notice, I don't think it will cause much issues anymore, even if it did, there is a solution for that.

$813 + Shipping for a Graphics Card whose value will sink like a stone in less than 12 months will never be a bargain!

Yeah but if you want a 1080 GTX then it's the only thing that will do.

  • These also EXCLUDE Gst so you have to add it to purchase.

    • I believe that if it is under $1000aud, it is still within the GST threshold? I am unsure on this as I only learnt of something like this in the previous Amazon deal posted.

      -Edit-

I believe that is the case until 01/07/2017 so this should be GST free.

Bad time to buy a 1080. 1080ti to be released in March/April.

    • Yer but there is always something new around the corner. Depends if you can wait till March/April and then it's not gonna be cheap either.

    • March April is a long time away and it may still be a month or 2 after that before prices drop

Yeah, they said that for January… that didn't happen lol

Of course, if you can wait, then I'd recommend it too
