        I take one travelling - coupled with a powerbank. Touch switch is handy by bed. Bought another 2 for au$2 delivered recently.

    compatible with Xiaomi power bank

    This is misleading! It's compatible with a USB powered port yes, but unlike the official xiaomi lights there are knocking off, they can't be turned on using the power bank button, so it's not compatible, it's just able to be physically plugged into it to be powered.

      Some of the newer Xiaomis have a thing where you can long press the button to turn it on for low power devices. e.g. charging my BT headphones

    What do you use these lights for ?
    I am sure not for paper back book reading - unless there is a USB port available very very close to the book.

      using laptop in the dark (if you don't have a back lit keyboard).
      in the car as a light (cigeretter lighter usb source)

      you can get a USB extension cable

    These guys are turned on just by plugging in right?

    At ~0.24A it's possible to run this just on an Arduino USB port. Is it possible to turn usb power on/off on any models?
