I heard this on the radio, its any 4K tv, you get 10% back as a gift card. It would have been better if its was straight 10% off the price, which would make it more of a deal.

    • That's how they get you to shop with them again.

Awesome TV for the price, highly recommend it. Netflix app works great and remote is very easy to use. PQ is fantastic too, just needs some minor tweaks, which are easy to find online.

    • +3

If you don't mind, can you share those minor tweaks or the link for it?

      • +1

I assume they are referring to the tweeks you can make to the picture to make it more optimal. I find nothing wrong with the standard settings but the Gurus out there have adjusted certain settings to make it what they say is more 'optimal'

Id love to hear a tweek for the TV guide though. Love the TV but the guide can take for ever to load the shows or sometimes not at all.

    • Do you have a firmware fix to make the aspect ratio work on its media player?

      • No, but I've not had an issue with my files

        • Thanks - did you buy this recently or in an older deal a few months back?

Also, have you tried playing 4K files? About 90% that I have tried have either reset the TV or failed to play.

        • @Punkboy:

I bought mine about 9 months ago (it was just under $1k)

4K files from YouTube work fine. I don't think the Netflix app or YouTube app on the TV will play 4K

  • I'm just hoping the 65 inch come down in price a little! What would be equivalent model to this is in the 65'?

  • +1

Anyone know how this compares to the 55k3300 (insert "if only i had 3 extra inches" joke here). The 3300 is the newer version of this isn't it?

  • Dang just bought the 55inch last weekend. But for $768. ah well.

  • Good reviews I assume? If yes, I'll put in an order

    • +1

Very from me but if you search previous deals on hear for this TV you will find plenty and should find any detail you are after.

      • Can;t see many reviews on the Series 3 other than most saying it's very good for the price. Seeing a lot of praise for the new series 7 though!

        • I just did a search for Hisense 58" when I was looking. I don't believe they have a 58" in the series 7

For those of you that are not in NSW and will be opting for delivery interstate, take note of this clause:

Bonus Gift Card must be redeemed at a Bing Lee retail store (not online or eBay) in a single transaction within 3 months of qualifying purchase

Must be an 8K TV around the corner, 4K prices seem cheaper than FHD 2 years ago.

    • Think they are discount ting the series 3 because they are pushing for the series 7

    • Is your tv made by NASA?

    • +4

You've obvs never owned one. Mines awesome.

      • Yep, mine too!
        It is 65" though.

        • +1

          hmm. It's BIG la :)

        • And what about your TV?

    • +7

      Quality no so good…

      Your English no so good…

      :P

    • +1

I initially had the same worry but they have come a long way. Like Hyundai the quality has improved over the years. They can easily can compete with LG and Samsung nowadayss on some segments.

Plus 3 years warranty. perfect peace of mind

      • Ok so how does Changhong compare to Hisense?

        • +3

I prefer hisense. I physically viewed both televisions, and hisense looked better to me.

  • Getting closer… still looking for another 65" at around the $800 level - after my recent Aldi purchase was broken during wall mounting…

  • +1

Hoping they will bring Bing Lee to WA..

Bought the TV today and its up and running. Did make some slight tweaks from this link but pumped the backlight from 44 to 54 as I felt it was a bit too dark (https://www.avforums.com/video/hisense-55k321-k321-best-pict…)

Note, the link above is for K321.

  • Guys please do let me know if I should get this…Just basic TV/Streaming/Chrome cast and PS4 gaming.

What would the refresh rate be?

Currently having a Soniq 43" TV which is decent.

Also any ideas on how to get this if I choose pickup. Rent an ute to get it?

    • No idea on refresh, but good for Xbox one. Can't see you having an issue with this one, especially for the $$$

  • Sorry, noob question here -

The only things I watch on TV are free-to-air and Netflix.

I assume these are not 4K content. from what I understand 4k content is bluray/4k dvds/4k torrented files etc. is this correct?

For someone who only watches regular TV / Netflix, is 4K important?
