    I bought 4 x items in GBP via ebay.com.au but the items all come up as payment pending and the items aren't in my paypal activity. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this because I used the code.

      The exact same thing happened to me (though my 4 items were in AUD). I thought it was a problem on my phone so I waited 30 minutes and still no email or transaction recorded in Paypal. I've just placed the order again on my PC - but saw the same message. I will probably end up with two of everything…

    Wow… great one eBay. i actually needed to buy something, but due to this stupid time and short timing the voucher expired before I could go to the checkout literally 30 seconds too late. As a result I'll now be purchasing the item elsewhere.

    No confirmation emails, for anything either?

    And then I click "view order details" from myebay for each item I get "Order service temporarily unavailable or invalid parameters in the request URL."

    I better not get charged full price for everything nor it will be a mess refund request from 5 different sellers argh!

      Check your paypal statement. You are charged after the purchase, so should be fine. You should receive an email after the purchase as well unless you have not paid it yet.

        they actually charged some but not others, then refunded after an hour.
        I got a response from an eBay representative and they said I can make the purchases again and they'll credit $20 to my PayPal account. So something went tits up on their end by the sounds of it.

          Yea, has happened in the past. Keep it in writing and can get the ref. no. if you want. I wont worry as it is a small payment and they record your chat or calls.
          They will credit paypal @20 which is good if you buy more stuff, else you will pay fee to get it back to your Credit card.

          @Gaggy: Yeah worked out alright, got it all in email so should be safe, I buy that much stuff using PayPal so not an issue at all.
          I'm just glad it wasn't all processed at full price.

    I got payment pending last night and woke up to find my order refunded. Turns out one of the sellers required phone number with the address.

    I had a chat with eBay support and they said they will put a $20 credit in my PayPal account after my next purchase. Bought something for $30 and they put a claim through. Apparently will be completed in 10 to 15 days. We shall see…
