Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2 10000mAh Quick External Portable Phone Battery USB Charger $26.39 Delivered (AU)

11/2: 2pm In Stock again - Thanks doweyy
12/2: 8pm Out of stock
13/2: 215pm In Stock again - Thanks Ksan

Same price as Previous deal, shipped from NSW (local stock).

Thanks to psterio:

This is an excellent powerbank and charges quickly both ways. Even if your device does not support QC2.0, this is still better than the older 10,000mAh model as it charges much quicker from the wall. It's also a much better shape (longer and less fat - so much more like the form factor of a phone) for putting in a pocket or small bag.

So this is 'Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2', it's thinner than the original (Xiaomi Mi Power Bank) and importantly has QC 2.0. Not to be mistaken for the the 'Xiaomi Mi Power Bank Pro' which has USB-C and is slightly thinner again. This power bank does support QC in both directions as mentioned

Specs:

  • 14.1mm thin with Aluminium Alloy housing
  • 10000mAh Li-poly Battery
  • 18W Fast Charging
  • Supports Bidirectional Quick Charge 2.0
  • Input: 5.0V—-2.0A, 9V / 12V
  • Output: 5.1V—-2.4A, 9V / 12V
  • Multi-layer Protection
  • 130 x 71 x 14.1mm
  • 217g

    • Black is available again now.

  • Powerbank out of stock in both colours according to eBay :(

  • Both colors of Powerbanks now out of stock.

  • Looks like out of stock

    • +4

Try again now, they've just added more stock.

      • +1

Thanks I managed to get a black one

  • Cheers OP!

  • Thanks, got a silver one!

  • Thanks OP, just got 2

  • Thanks OP, just grabbed a silver power bank, I missed out the last time there was a deal on these

  • Cheers, my old powerbank was too chunky. Also QC2 is handy.

  • +1
    • Also out of stock, was previously posted. Changed to out of stock when you select Australia as the country, as they aren't shipping to AU currently.

Edit: Available again and seems to allow shipment here now.

Anyone have a recommendation of a good case/bag/cover for this aside from the silicon ones Aliexpress stock?

    • Buy some Crown Royal and use the bag that comes with it.

    • ^ this. Can't find anything for the powerbank 2

      • For anyone interested, I've found these on ebay which just fit the Xiaomi Powerbanks. The other side also has a mesh netting to keep cables and anything else with your powerbank (SD cards, USB's etc)

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/142240783725

  • I got the Yoshop one in the previous deal for $18.25. I hope it makes it! haha

You guys will probably get yours first :P

  • Thanks Got one.

    • I just bought but instead of "Commit to Buy", chose "Add to cart", then check out, put the code and pay with Paypal.

      • Hello, I am getting "X-CH20: We're sorry. Your PayPal account is registered in a country that isn't eligible for this discount."
I remembered i opened my paypal account abroad. now I have to settle that before buying.

  • Finally after so many powerbank deals, I got one as well to try - thanks.

  • Need to replace the Romoss which just died on me and wondering whether its better to go for the 20000mah?

  • Can anyone confirm if these style of power banks will support USB type C?

I'd assume so, but since I'm still rocking the OG Nexus 5 as my main driver, I've actually not run into anything with type C yet and have no experience. Cheers, guys!

    • No USB-C on these, you need the Xiaomi Mi Power Bank Pro for that.

    • +1

They will work with a A to C cable but you'll be capped at 2.4A (if you have a cable that supports that), instead of 3A for a C to C cable.

      • Cheers guys!

I forgot to mention I'm only going after one for the Switch, I'll look into one of them soon.

  • i dont think this charges qc both ways. this one does http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-10000mAh-Both-way-QC2-0-Qu…

  • Showing as $32.99 at checkout

I did look and somehow glanced right by that, thanks :)

  • Those that have a 10,000 MAH power bank, how many times could it charge a standard smart phone, or iPad? Cheers!

  • My old man visited India and had his phone pick-pocketed at a busy road crossing. Looking to get a middle market phone that doesn't break the bank. The HTC 10, One Plus 3, or the H P9 or the Mate 9..? ANy suggestions?

    • +2

I haven't used either so just take this as opinion/from what I've read: The HTC 10 is great value, very similar but slightly better than the P9 I think (better reviewed and 4GB of RAM vs 3GB of RAM). The Mate 9 is quite a bit more $ wise, not close to mid range and also a very big phone (5.9") which he may not like (HTC 10 and P9 is 5.2"). Don't know about the OnePlus 3, specs wise it beats the HTC & P9 and is probably the best value on paper, but it has no band 28 so 4G usage is limited (thus why it's only available overseas). I'd go the HTC 10 for the best mid to high range. Otherwise you could take a look at a Moto G4 Plus 32GB for $350ish if that is good enough, not quite as powerful as HTC10 (1GB less ram and less spec'd processor, probably lesser camera too) but great value. Can get them from HK low $300s or mid to high $300s from AU eg Mobileciti (make sure you get the 32GB version as it has 3GB Ram, 16GB version only 2GB, not worth the slight price saving).

      • Appreciate it, will look into it now.

    • +1

I love my HTC 10. HTC announced its flagship phone for this year a couple weeks ago, though. No official release date on that yet, but there'll probably be another price drop when that launches, if that's a concern.

That being said, $550 is a pretty good price, and it might not be worth waiting for a price drop, as well as the next 20% voucher. Fast shipping, too. Ordered the phone from Hong Kong and a case from Australia, and had the phone arrive first.

      • +1

The U series isn't replacing the 10. There'll be a HTC 11, or whatever it's called, which is expected to be announced anywhere between MWC and April.

    • I have the P9 - the Mate 9 looks freaking amazing. The P9 is a brilliant device, so I haven't bought a Mate 9 yet. But if I was buying a phone now I would get the Mate 9.

  • Is this a good deal also for those who want black?

    http://www.banggood.com/Original-Xiaomi-10000mAh-Both-way-Qu…

    • Yep good price, see deal. It was unavailable for shipping to AU but seems to work again now. Just keep in mind that postage will take a while and no Australian warranty.

  • Be careful buying from these guys.

Ordered a power bank for my usb c device weeks ago. They sent out completely the wrong product which I immediately returned using their return postage address. This was over two weeks ago and they haven't replied to my messages. Will be applying for a paypal refund later today.

  • Dammit, busy day at work… Are SS likely to restock the Xiaomi 10000 again?

    • +2

Last time it came back in stock about 3 times over 11 days or so:

  • +2

11/2 2pm: Powerbank is back in stock now - Thanks doweyy for the heads up.

    • Hey, just wondering if you have a link available for the powerbank 2 did a search for xiaomi and didn't come up with the 2 on their eBay store.

I could be missing something or they removed the item, can only see it on their other eBay stores

      Thanks

      • +1

It's was the main deal link, just the thumbnail was still showing HTC. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/201754163202/

Looks like it sold out again last night sorry, I'll fix the deal up.

        • Huh, swear I couldn't click the link before

Thanks for telling me hamza23 :D , now to stress over which colour to choose :p

        • @Teal:

Black seems to sell slightly more if that is any help.

  • Thanks OP. Finally got the black one

  • Is it worth the extra $ for thw Power Bank Pro over the Power Bank 2? Is it USB C for input only? Going to us the Power Bank for iPad Air 2, iPhone 6s and ZTE Axon 7 (which has QC 3.0 I presume it still works ok?). Which one is recommended?

  • THey still not shipped my order!

    • My order (black powerbank) has not been shipped (paid on 7th) either.

      • Same, Mine still says "not yet sent". They have already re stocked twice, I hope they send them out soon.My Estimated delivery Thu, 16 Feb - Wed, 22 Feb. Hope it arrives on time.

        • Right? they should not relist if they have no stock!

  • still not shipped. my sd card has though. Dont ever shop here they ship in 5 days or later. not worth it shop else where
They lied and said they would ship today, never did. now they said there was an error and have to wait 2 more days.

    • My delivery is tomorrow, They still haven't sent mine out yet. I will contact them tomorrow if its not sent out. I was getting it for someone before they left, that time is closing in soon.
Hope they make it Fast N Free, because it was paid for and promised between a time period which is not looking likely to achieve.
