        YOSHOP can confirm there has been no official correspondence nor official confirmation of these batteries being 'banned'.

          I can confirm that there is no 'cancellation/restriction' directive from Australian Customs regarding this product. The current banned list does not include Batteries This seems to be a coincidence and the communication I have received has been that 'China Shipping' policy has caused this shipment to not go ahead and is an unrelated issue.

      The Car charger allows you to use this as a bluetooth transmitter for audio with the Xiaomi App (taking calls, music etc) and also acts as a charger for 2 devices.

        that's still a very unclear explanation, to be exact, it pairs with your bluetooth device, then transmit the sound via FM radio which you use your car audio to get it, video shows the receiving frequency is 94MHz but not sure if this can be changed.

          The tip is different on the Xiaomi, being almost the whole width of the socket and flat rather than the small tip found on most.

          Worth checking your car though, just looked at my Nissan, and the socket looks like the compatible type despite all Nissans being listed incompatible.

          The socket needs to have the clip at the bottom for the centre pin, not just the rivet in the middle, then it should be fine.

          There may be some other reason it's not compatible with the Nissan but for 10 bucks I'll give it a go.

    An alternative, with no worry of customs confiscation, is to order the powerbank case & electronics for a few dollars from eBay,
    and add your own cells, e.g. from a laptop battery . When the battery fails, its often just one bad cell.

      Lithium batteries hold their charge very well, however prefer to be stored long term at 50% charge (they deteriorate more if left in long term storage at full charge)

      Yeah the same company that owns Gearbest also owns Yoshop (and quite a few other sites - Everbuying, Dealsmachine, Sammydress etc.). All these sites in the store group share the same posting limits on OzBargain so no advantage is received by having multiple sites selling similar products.
