    • +1

lol all these comments crack me up

    • +8

I don't know witch one to get.

      • For simple task - ie. quick vaccuum of kitchen floor/benches/etc
        Get the cheapest one.

If wife has long hair, I'd think V8 is better as it is easier to empty and long hair is a pain to clear.

    • If you go to the deal, believe it or not they have a specification section for the broom. It is just a broom, right? Dead handy for all those Witches & Warlocks out there or for beatin' your monkey with.

    • +4

Good news guys, Broome has them in stock! (bad I know)

      • +1

I don't know whether to laugh or cry!!

  • +1

  • +13

Perfect, my quidditch match is this weekend, and my other broom is in the shop for repairs. Damn that "he who must not be named"

  • +16

You could give it to your mother in law as a birthday present!

    • +38

lol good one. u want me to spend 20c on my mother inlaw???

    • +10

      That's a sweeping generalisation you're making there!

    • +1

Buy a few to arm yourself for mother-in-law's next visit?

  • +1

Samantha Stephens would love this bargain!

In any case, a wise decision may be to buy hundreds of these, save them until Halloween and refund @ full price.

    500 units x .20c = $100 investment

    500 units x $5 = $2500 - $100 investment = $2400 PROFIT!

However, these are not very good for sweeping. The bristles are purely decorative and are awkward to use and do very little.

    • +2

How do you refund something at a different price you bought it for?

      • Don't bring in a receipt? Pretend you lost it… i dont do that but i swear people dio when they bring back stuff…

        • +24

"Hello. I am returning these 500 brooms which I do not have a receipt for"

        • +22

@Divitini: "I tried every single one and none of them fly."

        • +6

    • +3

10 enough to make BBQ ?

  • +11

Is this faster than a Nimbus 2000? Can I use it in a quidditch match?

    • +5

Firebolt is where it's at. Nimbus 2000 is so last century.

      • +1

well nimbus 2020 is zee what krum uses these days

  • Those DC plushes are the most impressively ugly things I've ever seen

Obviously got the dc comics for on-broom entertainment.

  • Guess whose ex-roommate is about to be the proud owner of 495 wooden brooms

  • -4

Am I correct in assuming this is the "Pauline" model?

    • -2

      Wrong thread mate

      • Witch is the right thread?

  • +2

Can't wait to see Malfoy's face after I turn up with this, especially after his father wasted his money on Nimbus 2001's. Should've gone to BigW.

  • +1

Buy them all, then resell them at/to hipster joints as rustic decorative items for $50 a pop. Sweep in the profits.

Edit: also seems they only have 33 in stock, and like others mentioned can only add 10 to the cart.

  • +2

I actually need a broom and got really excited when I saw this. Now I'm in a really witchy mood.

  • +1

    THIS ISN'T A BROOM, ITS A NIMBUS 2000

    • +1

That's not a broom. THIS is a broom!

    • +1

You could say they're flying off the shelves.

    • great idea

"We sometimes find that cheaper stick and bristle (Muggle origin) brooms aren't always suitable for extended flight. However, we were presently surprised to find this offering to be an exception, similarly to many (Muggle origin) store bought stick and bristle brooms. On standing take off, the stick feels solid and responds quickly to the rider. Low altitude banking, turns and spins are met with by the upper handle with little vibration or judder. Stopping is sometimes a mixed affair, our resident tester, Boony, fell from the broom several times before finding the sweet spot is the middle upper handle for reliable emergency braking (he's fine by the way), at slower speeds, stopping was not a problem..

..this broom would make a fine Quidditch match broom for younger or trainee players."

    • +1

Time to post your review on BigW site😯

  • +1

"Alright you primitive screwheads, listen up! You see this? This… is my BROOMstick!" - Ash at Big W, probably.

  • Is this the Nimbus 2000 model or the Firebolt?

  • These brooms are crap at sweeping - the bristles are made from some sort of really awful cheap wood and don't sweep anything well. I think there are probably only about 30 bristles, too… insteadof hundreds or thousands on a normal broom.
