No need to editorialise your headlines… we'll determine whether or not it's a BARGAIN! ;)

  • What's the expiry on the packets? How long do they last for?

  • +1

They last until the November 2017.

    • Sounds good!

      Are you really a doctor?

        His licence plate says "ASSMAN"

      • No

  • is there anywhere i can try some to see if it is my prefered style?

    • All Caltex Starmarts and Coles Express servo's nationally.

  • ah stuff it, ordered 10 packets, shipping is a bit steep though :(

    • It may seem a bit steep if you buy 10 units, however that works out at $2.90 a bag and considering the RRP is $5.00 it's still a lot cheaper. Of course if you bought more units, the postage becomes almost irrelevant as it's a fixed cost. Our largest sale over the last 2 days has been 300 units to one customer and the postage was still only $10.00. Thank you for purchasing our products, I hope you enjoy them as much as our other customers do.

Any chance of a pick up?

The address on the back is Northcote (Vic), I'd definitely pick up from there if it's an option!

Australian Beef is highly sort sought after across the globe

    • +1

Maybe it's sorted after they seek it?

  • So, once you take in to account shipping it's around $75/kg?

Not bad, just a shame that the only option is 30g sachets. Would be nice to have options for those who like to buy in bulk.

    • +3

that depends entirely on how much you order

eg. it comes down to $63.43 if you order 300kg

      • Mmmm, yes I did notice there'd be a rounding effect due to the odd product size. Good call!

    • Yes, you're correct, however we sell these units at retail outlets like Coles Express and Caltex and the sell for $5.00 a unit. We're not promoting bulk quantities, only smaller, more conveniently packaged units at bulk prices. If we were to sell these units at the going price, it would be more like $165kg, so there's a $100 per kg discount.

  • What's it been denuded of, exactly?

    • All surface fat.

  • Ordered 40 packs. Hopefully it's good as I expected!

    • Thank you for your generous order, I hope you're not disappointed with the product.

  • Hmmm, $63.33 per kilo plus $10 shipping. It would want to be really good at that price. How did everyone find that "Ripsaw" stuff that was kindly sent out to us virtually free a few months ago? I got the 'extreme heat' one, and I can honestly say it was the hottest (and up there with the best) jerky I've ever had. And no, I'm not associated.

    • +1

I found the Ripsaw excellent as well!

      • +1

I've got to agree, I think Ripsaw jerky is the best jerky available in the market. I happen to know the owner personally, and I think he does an excellent job! As we've advertised, we manufacture and sell Biltong, not jerky.
