Well that's super cheap. Anyone used these guys before?

    • for $3 I would just grab one to play with

      • But that doesn't give an indication of:
        -long term stability
        -long term consistent performance
        -support

        Time is precious.

        • -long term stability
          -long term consistent performance
          -support

Go with a ransomit or micron21

        • Welcome to the low end market! But yeah, if you want all those things guaranteed go with Ransom IT.

        • @kogi:
I'm mostly using Vultr and I've been very happy with it. It has great stability, excellent performance and decent support.

Oh look, another VPS provider that doesn't list basic specs of their machines. How convenient. What CPU? What speed RAM? What medium is that storage on?

    Don't waste our time.

      Hi,
I ordered a service from them "Monday, May 23rd, 2016" and has been very stable, and I have added benchmark to give you an idea.
Defently go RansomIT if you want a good stable service, but OnACloud has been a great budget service for me (RansomIT is $10 a month, OnACloud is $3, for same specs).

That still tells you nothing about the specs. The only thing I know now that I didn't already was what frequency the CPU is running at.

        • +1

Maybe @onacloud-tom could help if he is still around.
The above gives more than enough in my mind in Specs,
CPU is 2.6Ghz, and Disk IO is high enough I don't really care about the physical hardware, could be a good HDD array or SSD either way the point of a VPS is not to worry.

      Hi @potplanty,

Thank you for your questions & I certainly don't want to waste your time.

      What CPU?

      Our VPS Infrastructure is all Enterprise Dell Poweredge r6xx Series;
For these VPS's listed above they are the Hex Core Xeon X5650 @ 2.66 Ghz.

      What speed RAM?

The RAM is the 10600R DDR3-1333MHz

What medium is that storage on?

The storage medium is 15k SAS drives utilizing the OnApp Integrated Storage features which actually stores your virtual machine image across multiple physical hosts for optimum speed and redundancy.

We use Micron21 as our Datacentre provider (and have done for the last 2+ Years)

Thanks to @bohdans for posting up the Benchmarks; One thing to note from this is the Network Speeds, by default we set a 10mbit port limit on all VPS Services, This can be increased by contacting support.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

      Thanks,

      Tom

    Thanks!
Bought a mini and a small server. Asking to upgrade to 100Mbps was quick and painless. Performance wise seems pretty good so far, I'm not anything too intensive (intention is to have my TS server on the mini and minecraft / any other game my mates play on the small). Hopefully you guys stick around (and are reliable ofcourse) :)

  • Hi, Do your VPS come with Cpanel/WHM?
Do you offer 30 day money back guarantee?

    • Hi nichanir,

Our VPS Services do not come with a cPanel license however this can be added onto the order for $21.00 Per month.

Yes we offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you experience any service issues or disruptions that we are unable to work through via our support team. Unfortunately if you simply change your mind we cannot offer you a refund.

      Thanks,

      Tom

  • Requested a cancellation which they promptly did but now they aren't refunding the remainder… No service…
