SPECIAL NOTES:

Some items we have marked as 10% off inside the ebay portal, but eBay shows them as 9% :/ - we assume its some sort of error on the eBay side.

Also, we were unaware of this sale coming and bulk uploaded about 700 other new listings last night, many are missing images still, please bear with us as we fix those up in the coming week.

For anyone who hasnt dealt with us before, here are our reviews on eBay :)

Has anyone used them? I was just looking at reviews for Warehouse1 as was thinking f buying a HDD from them and reviews were pretty scathing, put me right off them.

    http://www.productreview.com.au/p/warehouse1.html

    • I use them to buy bulk hard disks (20 at a time).

Sometimes delivery can be slow, but the goods always arrive.

Have purchased maybe 120 disks, no issues.

        Hey Bobby :)

If you check out our ebay reviews, they are more indicative. Places like product review may or may not be genuine, ebay feedback was from an actual sale.

we ship out tens of thousands of consignments a year, but unfortunately, most happy customers dont feel the need to leave a review.

We recently won these 2 awards in our industry and thank the OZB for your support in that!

Also, most sellers raise pricing for these kinds of deals.. we drop it, i hope thats worth something to you guys!

Given those reviews I think I'd look elsewhere… however their eBay feedback seems positive. Weird…

      • +17

It's not weird at all. Everyone knows that Product Review is an absolutely useless website.

      • +4

People only complain when there is a problem, not weird at all.

    • 131 negative to 20 positive - id stay away

      • +1

People are more likely to leave a review once they have a bad experience

    • They do thin stock management

I use regularly and almost always get every thing within 3 days,
however stick to the common products, and always buy early in the week and early in the day.

products some times say in stock (in stock means distributor has).

When i order later in the week like Friday, they usually find my in stock item is no longer in stock Monday when they process the order.

They seem to after our payment, Warehouse1 staff contacting distributor to secure item.
but if the distributor price went up or out of stock in that delay they
      will keep your money until,
      the stock returns,
      the price goes back down,
      you pay the difference
      or you seek a refund.

      • if you buy in bulk that often, why not go straight to the distributor?

        • i buy a lot but not really the volumes in bulk sadly.
10 monitors here, 5 disks there , 10 stick ram there etc

most whole sales expects 100s per order ?

        • @carlb: u buy 10 monitors at a time???

        • @furythree: not for myself , for the offices

    • +1

I wouldn't be taking the chance

Notably the MD's previous association with megabuy here and here. The fact that they are taking a similar approach to megabuy with many companies doing the same thing under one umbrella doesn't inspire confidence either.

(All links are to the same whirlpool thread)

    • I have bought numerous times from warehouse1, they are very legit. last thing I bought was 360 wireless controller for windows delivered next day for $32 AUD.

then I've got hdds, keyboards, etc from them too. Anything listed on ProductReview is a joke, take a look at China Eastern or China Southern airlines to see the blatant manipulation of the voting system as 'verified customer' - even when reported to productreview they state there is absolutely nothing wrong (i.e they are collecting the money)

that just mean they run out and they dont wish to remove the listing.
        alot of ebayers do that

        And no longer necessary.

A long time ago Ebay changed the way that is handled, so you can leave a listing "alive" but suspend all sales. When you bring it back online, the original Best Match ranking returns instantly.

I really dont know how you can take 10% off these
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-MZ-750500BW-750-EVO-SATA-…

How are you guys making any money? :)

    • i think we ran out and were waiting for more… hence the silly price :)

      I have removed.

REP: You no longer need to jack the prices of items that are out of stock, in order to retail sales volumes, links, Best Match rankings, etc.

        Read this: http://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/node/886

Works great. As soon as you restock the item it comes back as if nothing happened.

        • thanks! we will have a squiz :)

          @Warehouse1:

    SUPER DODGY BUSINESS. BEWARE

Bought once, asked for all kinds of verification and next day they canceled order and said to refund. Never got refund, thank god for paying with card i was able to get the money back. DON'T BUY unless you want to lose your money and lose your time

      Hi Sunny,

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, unlike the website, ebay doesn't require verification :)

It can be difficult sometimes in the online environment to vett and verify cardholders - as a lot of people try to target us using stolen cards through our website.

It also happens to others across our industry.

      Warehouse1

    • They have 99.5% positive feedback back over almost 4000 sales. That's pretty good!

  • Need some ddr4 2400 16gb ??

  • +1

Thanks, Rep. Picked up the Archer C7 with your extra 10% off, making it the cheapest around right now :)

    • +1

      nice :)

we will ship from our store asap.

  • +1

Wow that WRT1200AC is cheap. Damn, if only I had seen it earlier.

  • Any reports on the micro server?
So keen on getting one to run programs 24/7 as they seem to have decently low power consumption.

    Are they worth getting?

  • Surely you can do better on the mech keyboards? They're like the normal price incl. delivery on your website AFTER taking all these "discounts"…

  • +1

I've bought from them a few times and prices were great and shipping and packaging were fine too. I'll be buying from them again.

  • I am getting following message while opening NAS pages
"https://owncloud.wh1.online is requesting your username and password. WARNING: Your password will not be sent to the website you are currently visiting!"

    Anyone getting same message.

    • pls disregard, its what we have to do to list our items in bulk.

its referring to a blank picture, as we used an image URL from owncloud (which is us).

Unfortunately eBay has only given Australia the old backward tools, the new API tools are only available in the USA ):

      totally ridiculous we know…

      Warehouse1

      • I had to click cancel 7 times to get rid of that message. i will try in other browser from home.

        • it shouldnt exist now, sorted by our team.

any deals on speakers around the $100 mark rep?

also wondering what you use to "bulk upload" ebay listings

  • +5

I sincerely hope you guys get your order. Good luck

    • +11

With the level of buyer protection given to you by EBAY, W1 would be fools not to get your item to you.

Sunny you had a bad experience. Plenty of others have used them without problems.

      I'd rather buy from W1 than MSY…

  • Hi Rep, When will you have some Samsung 850 500GB SATA available on Ebay?

  • Do you plan to list Logitech MX800 in the list too? I'm looking for a Logitech keyboard that's compatible with Unifying receiver.

  • +1

that LG 34" 144hz is also the cheapest ive ever seen it at $810

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-34UC79G-B-34-Curved-Wide-2560x…

  • Any decent monitors available?

  • +2

I have purchased something from Warehouse1 in the past (via warehouse1.com.au), here is my 2cents:

    • They are very competitive in price, usually they are the cheapest
    • Their stock/inventory management is absolutely inaccurate
    • Their payment process is a bit of a pain (e.g. work email for verificiation etc)
    • Their refund process is super slow

I haven't tried placing order via ebay, I would expect the experience would be better, since they will be penalised by the system (e.g. negative review), and literally ebay/paypal will protect you from all the negative above.

I personally don't think they are dodgy at all, if they have the stock, you will be fine. If they don't, they will still order one for you, but you might have to wait for a bit.

  • 3TB portable - $149 (was 159) before eBay C10 10% Off

    Hmm, that's not 10% off

    This is 10% off $143.10

Have bought from Warehouse1 before, would recommend - had no issues apart from a minor one regarding their website despatch status which was rectify with a phone call confirmation which supplied a Toll tracking number.

I especially love the view of their retail store which had two staff with a 4-monitor setup with two of them being ultrawides. You know they've got something right.

  • +3

Man besides all the complaints give these guys a break, And give them a thumbs up, its a business after all, ozbaraginers know they're legit :)

  • I've purchased from them on ebay on multiple occasions. No issues whatsoever.

  • Any chance for a deal on the Asus RT-AC68U? :D

  • +1

Reviews on ProductReview are overwhelmingly bad for these guys.
    http://www.productreview.com.au/p/warehouse1.html

I work right next to someone who tried to buy some security camera's from them a couple of months ago. He ordered, then asked when they would be delivered. No answer. Asked on their board as well. They send him an email saying they aren't in stock and to organise a refund. A month later he get's refunded.

Surely they can't make any money by just keeping people's cash for a month or so then refunding?

    • Take money, check later

    • +2

Similar experience I've had regarding their website.

For those having a cry about productreview, read the (bad) experiences on whingepool instead

  • thanks op, been looking for a NAS and decided to buy the Synology DS916+, hopefully get it this week before the weekend!

    • me too. waiting for a while to get a decent price. Try to grab a 8GB memory from Futu as well of you bought a 2GB model.

      • Yeh bought the 2gb one, contemplating getting 8gb RAM while the eBay sale is on…

        • Have you got a shipping confirmation email? They hasn't sent mine yet and no reply to shipping enquiry.

        • @ek: Nope, I got a reply on Tuesday saying it was going to be shipped that afternoon, no notification so I emailed again yesterday. Recieved a response today that is was definately being dispatched today… but no shipping details… was hoping to have it for this weekend but guess that's not happening!

        • @ek: Just got an email with the tracking number, item was given to Australia post yesterday afternoon. Isn't due for delivery until next Wednesday. Hopefully you will an answer soon.

  • Any Ultra wide monitors?

    • Have you tried searching on ebay?

  • Purchased couple times from them, no issues.

  • Some very good prices on the QNAP and synology NASs
I have brought from these guys a few times.
Always great prices, might take an extra Couple of days to ship though.
I certainly wouldn't have a problem ordering from them again.

  • lol i'd ask for proof of stock before purchasing anything from their website "send a picture of the product with the date and time stamped on it" a few bad reviews is enough to steer clear from them but 200+ horrible below 1 star reviews? thats just a plain risk

  • Any chance of 8gb ECC RAM module for HP Gen8 microserver?

Their packaging is terrible. Memory cards get bubble wrap, but hard disks are sent raw with protection only at one end. That is 3 sides of the hard drive will be protected by whatever the final outer package is.
