    I feel bad.

    Officeworks have just delivered a $1 pair of kids safety scissors by Toll Express to my front door on their own… and have placed the Chromecast on backorder "till after the 20th March".

    I really dont care when I get it to be honest, but I feel bad that they've had to split the delivery and have a courier deliver a pair of plastic scissors and go to trouble of signing for it.

    How are they making money on deals like this? First time I've actually felt guilt for a retailer, am I getting soft in my old age?

      Same thing happened to me today. I received a box with a piece of $1 wrapping paper in it. It was different to $1 item I ordered but that didn't bother me because I just picked a random thing in the first place. I guess they knew that I didn't care what the $1 item was.
