        Broden? Is that you?

          Got nine last week, Darwin

Got mine or got nine :p

    • Got mine about a week ago. Melbourne here

    • I've never had a problem with Banggood, but I always use paypal option just in case.

      • Did you use aftership.com to track it?

It said this but not very sure how accurate.

I never bother tracking them. I know that Auspost is way less reliable than the Chinese shipping side. If it doesn't turn up then let banggood know and you get a refund.

        • @iratepirate:
Auspost said the same thing not a good sign :(

          @superforever:

You will get it when you get it.
I generally get stuff from banggood within a month but my last shipment took more than 2 months to reach my house and it apparently reached australia within 2 weeks.

It was delivered to me by a star track courier so i believe it was sitting in a warehouse in australia for more than a month.

        • @techno2000:

Oh I see, may be because it is a battery.

        • My order tracking from the previous deal shows exactly the same and I have not received the powerbank yet

Hopefully its not a custom issue

        • @Arsi:

I called auspost and they said the parcel is with border security so nothing they can do just wait.

If border security reject it they will inform them and they will update the status.

    • Got mine last week, too, in Sydney.

Sadly still waiting for the case, shipped on same day.

I don't understand why they can't just combine the shipping.

      • +2

Sydney received it last week!!! Must be Auspost thing …. caused the delay.

I don't understand why they can't just combine the shipping.

        May be from difference warehouse.

    • got it 3 days ago, perth here.

      feels fine, and seems legit

    • Got mine on Monday and last Friday, melbourne here.

Anyone know where to buy the exact silicone cover that fits this? I bought one off ebay which was a little too big. I think i accidentally bought a "Pro" version.

Please take note: QuickCharge enabled devices should not be used with a Nintendo Switch; if that was the intent.
There have been rare cases of the switch 'triggering' quick charge, then the proceeding 15V pops em.
    Rare, but a risk I don't need.

    • Has Nintendo acknowledged this as a fault or are they hanging fans out to dry?

      • It's not a fault of the Switch. It's a fault with QC chargers.

Also, This isn't a Nintendo product, and they don't recommend the use of power banks.
It's a "Life Hack" or whatever you want to call it.

If you're going to accuse anyone, accuse whoever thought up the first instance of "Quick Charge" for breaking international standards and using a "normal charging port" to allow it.
        It's WAY outside USB specs.

        • Okay. So you are just letting us know the Nintendo Switch isn't capable of Quick Charge. Thanks!

      • Has Nintendo acknowledged this as a fault?

After reaching out and asking, i can confirm this is "a feature."

    • +3

I've had this occur with an action cam also. Quick-charge from a technical standpoint is terrible method relying on voltages present on the data lines which can happen with some devices under certain conditions or even a bad cable. What is beneficial is that you can feed 12V (or 9V) from common power-banks by using some basic circuitry on the cables.

        THANK YOU!
My comment got down voted above for speaking truth…. I don't think people understand how the world works sometimes and simply go with the logic "It worked for ME, must be good"

They dont realise that it's outside USB spec, it's dangerous to ALL your devices that arent QC aware, and I've even seen cable fires when using cheap thin cables. (I know its MEANT to be at a lower amperage, but you still usually end up with more current overall).

Besides, QC slowly (profanity) your battery; its basic Lithium battery rules. C1 charger, C2 at most; for maximum life.

sigh I think people are drinking the bath water again.

    • Thanks for the heads up, I used it to charge my switch without any issues, it held charge pretty well while charging and playing Zelda at the same time, I was surprised it charged even faster when not in use.

Will not use it anymore until I do more research on this topic

  • Just curious…

Could you get a number of these and Daisy chain them together to create some kind of useless energy loop? Would the world implode?

    • I plugged mine into itself and the world still turned

    • +1

it may or may not implode!
but you can find out if you daisy chain 42 of these!

    • Due to the <100% efficiency, they'd slowly drain (think heat loss etc). Would be cool to get a perpetual loop though!

  • How does QC work? Does the device I'm charging need to be QC? Or does every part of the charging process (Battery, cable, device) each need to be QC capable?

    • +1

Battery and device need to be QC capable. Cable doesn't but you'd still want a non-crappy cable.

  • Is there a power bank that has usb C with quick charge 3.0 + a usb A also with quick charge 3.0? Also around the 10000mah capacity range? http://www.tronsmart.com/products/tronsmart-presto-10400 I don't know if this power bank has quick charge 3.0 in the usb C port

For the sake of literally a couple of dollars I think shopping via banggood is crazy. How their packages manage to take so bloody long to get here is beyond me.

    • +1

Some received it within 2 weeks, so not bad.

Mine I think mainly delayed by auspost.

    • +4

Why people complain about free shipping is beyond me. As the old saying goes… "You get what you pay for".

    • Just under two weeks for me to Melbourne. Fine with me.

  • +5

I have no idea what "Bi-directional QC 2.0 charging" means. I googled it and ended up back at this page.

    • +2

QC 2.0 input/output. You can charge the power bank and your devices with Quick Charge 2.0.

    • +2

You can charge your quick charge phone faster and charge your battery faster with quick charge charger.

    • outlet—-powerbank——phone

you can charge them at same time with one outlet is how i understand it…coz for the powerbank, its being charged and charging the phone at the same time?

  • +1

    Hmmm do i need this

    • +1

If you ever travel, or go camping.. Yes, they are very handy.

      • agreed. I have one of these and have found it very useful:

        • On a long road trip (and kids had taken the cigarette socket usb charger!)
        • Watching movies/playing games on the phone on a long flight with no charging facilities
        • realising phone is almost dead and yet on way to park with family and bluetooth speaker for kids party
  • Bought mine 28/02. Tracking status hasn't changed since 09/03.

Current status: SYDNEY NSW, Arrived at facility in destination country

    This common?

    • +1

      Yes, check my comments above

    • +1

Fyi, I ordered mine on 8/3 and received on 21/3 in Sydney.

  • Can this be used to charge a surface pro 4? I noticed it's 12v

  • Banghard & banggood but dont shop here

    • +1

  • i paid a bit extra and got one off kogan.

    delivery in under 2 weeks

  • The last delivery was extremely fast; thanks OP got one

  • Has anyone found a case for these power banks? I use to have a Xiaomi original microfibre case for the 5000mah which was awesome

  • is this the genuine one, how can you sure and how can i check that?

sorry gotta ask if its banggood….

    • What less than genuine articles have you purchased before?

  • +1

Bought 19/Mar, arrived 28/Mar (9 days). Package was express posted (judging by the labels on it) probably to ensure it goes past Customs - I selected free shipping.

    • Just went and checked my mail box and mine arrived today - 9 days transit - that's faster than I can get a letter to my neighbour 1Km away…

      • Mine still hold up by border security, arrived Sydney on 8Mar but still waiting for some reason.

  • Has anyone else not received a notice of shipping yet? Ordered on the 23rd of March.

  • Just got mine today. Ordered 22/3, received 3/4 so 12 days which had insurance and tracking to Sydney.
