Dell Expedited Delivery Is a Joke

Have been holding off Dell for a long time after seeing all the various reviews and experiences from users all around. Desperately needing a laptop I finally pulled the plug and thought I'd give it a go..

Here's the story..
Dell had expedited my delivery for the 3rd of April however this was not the case!

So I call up Dell Support to check on the status and they've stated that the item would be delivered by the 5th/6th April..

Not wanting to cause a fuss, I said "alright and if it does not arrive I'll just call back"

The guy did not sound one bit interested in his work…

Oh and another thing, the fact that you have no knowledge of the whereabouts on your delivery sucks.. was told that tracking would only be available on the day of delivery..
Worst first experience imo

    i think you are over reacting. It takes a while to pack the items, ship them, have them picked up and delivered. It has only been a day. Things can get delayed. Just wait till 6th of April before making such accusations. You haven't even waited till the delivery date before shaming

      It's actually been over a week and a half. I'm not accusing anyone or the company.

        expected date of delivery 3rd of april. It is currently the 4th of april…

          my bad. I thought it was shipped on the 3rd and meant to be delivered on the 5/6th of april.

    • Also, my Dell desktops have always shipped from Malaysia/Singapore, not Australian stock. Is their laptop logistics process different?

    If only some bright spark would set up some type of building where one could walk in, purchase an item and take delivery of it all on the same day!

    Nah, you can track it a lot sooner than that.

    Select "By customer reference" on the left hand side

    Select Reference Type: Sales Order No

    Use the Dells Sale order number

    You should then be able to find a Startrack tracking number there and you can track on the Startrack website

  • It's ok bro give it some time go order a pizza and crack open a coke and just chill I know that's what I am doing tonight my head is so headachey lately from too much stressing and hurts :(
