    Free parking and free points.
    Let's hope it happens.

    • Hope it doesn't get the OzB broden of death like the Mac Pro…

  • Thanks OP, seems promising.

Anyone else get an error page after signing up saying oops sign up is not complete

    • Yep!

    • +5

      Says session expired

      • +6

Yes, I too am caught in a zany 'session has expired' loop, and their system erroneously uses the terms 'email address' and 'username' interchangeably when trying to resolve any PW (etc.) issue. Oh yeah, their PW requirements are ridiculous as well (must include caps/non-caps/numbers/a random assortment of symbols/etc.).

The worst 'sign up' process I've had the misfortune to encounter in years.

I could probably (maybe?) get it to work if I devoted yet more time to it, but I'm jack of it and have given up.

I WANT MY FREE BARKING AND BOINTS GOD DAMN IT

      • +3

        I WANT SOME BOINTS TOO

    • error pops up if you do not input the password as per their requirement i.e. 1 Uppercase, 1 lower case, numbers and special characters

$50 enough for 2 hours parking

    • 4 hours in albert Street Brisbane
or more if you park off peak / weekends
Its a good deal and free money for nothing

      • +6

        woooosh

          ? relevance to the discussion

      same here

    • +9

yep got the same message when i signed up. Was an hour or so before got an email saying it was processed and was able to login ok. Give it 24hrs and if receive nothing then follow the step on the page where it says.

If you are unsure how you ended up here and you require assistance, please contact our Customer Care team on 1800 727 546 or send us an email at [email protected].

Might have to wait until Tuesday with all the public holidays.

    • -4

I would love to sign up to this offer, but as above you can't because they decided to use Microsoft for their sign in service.. How useless.

      • +1

I don't understand how that's even slightly relevant? Lots of companies use Azure AD for authentication, it's not like Azure AD sees you coming and goes "nope, not letting him create an account"

  • Same here

  • Can you sign up to Wilson One if you are a casual, very infrequent user?

    • +2

pretty much what i am, just be aware that in the T&C it does say the $50 credit expires after 6 months. You will however still get the VFF Points

      • Thanks. I'll probably use some of the $50 credit within the next 6 months

  • +3

Where do you put in your velocity ff number?

    • +2

Very good question. I can't see it either and am also experiencing the "session timed out" message mentioned above.

    • Click on "Apply Now" using this link. It will ask you to sign in (or sign up, if you haven't already done so) then go to a form which, near the bottom, will ask you for your Velocity FF number.

  • Can the $50 be used for Wilson book a bay?

  • +13

This session has expired, please click here to log back in.

If you arrived here via an email sent to you by Wilson Parking, please return to the original email and click the link again to continue.

This immediately after trying to sign up. Can't login, can't sign up again.

    • +2

website seems to be stuck in a loop. just tried signing up a friend and i can see a screen flash up saying "select an agreement to start" but that disappears before i get a chance to do anything. hopefully sorts itself out

    • Same here… Can't login, can't sign up.

    • Yup, same issue

    • is it fixed yet.. or has it reached the a limit..

  • +1

53 votes so far (including mine). Can anybody report success yet?

    • +2

I managed to do it the first time, then since posting here no luck as the website seems to be stuck in a loop. all i can suggest is either keep trying or try again later?

  • +4

I tried to ring their support number however the recorded message was that they are not currently available

    • +13

You know someone is dedicated to getting a bargain when they call up to inquire on a long weekend!

  • can you sign up and never use this account? I'm not sure if I'll ever need it

    • +14

Why not? It's not like they're going to drag your car into their garage at night.

    • The $50 credit expires after 6 months (i think I read).

  • +8

At the risk of being downvoted, i'd rather boycott this than give Wilson Parking anymore reason to take my money. They change an absolute arm and a leg for parking to the point where they may as well set an Aussie Homeloans shop next door to each of their parking places to help people finance the ticket they have to pay to get out of the carpark.

  • +5

Anyone considering using this for early bird parking, book a bay, or similar, might be outta luck. From the T&Cs ("access device" = the Wilson One card):
9.4 The Access Device may not be eligible for use for any car parking rate which requires validation such as early bird or other discount rates.

I'd say it's only for casual rates, which sucks. Also, it's not available at all Wilson parking locations. For example, Melb CBD is fine, but if you want to use it at the Jam Factory parking, "Wilson One" isn't listed as an available service. Just be aware this looks like a very controlled offer.

    • +1. I've known of this card before seeing this, and the only circumstance it seems useful is if businesses wanted to give their employees access to a business-paid parking account.

Otherwise you might as well pay with your credit card like normal. Same end-result.

    • +2

You can use the Wilson One card at sites with boom gates (swipe when entering and leaving), or just display it on your dashboard at pay-and-display sites. This should be accepted at all Wilson car parks.

      • Hi Deebrie,

is it somewhere on the Wilson One website or can you ask the web team to put it there (and let us know it's there)?

Thanks in advance if you can :)

        • +2

Hi there, sorry, there's not much I can do unfortunately! I'm pretty low on the totem pole… I just know that some Wilson One customers have been advised of this previously.

      • so does it work for book a bay?

      • I think its all the purple icons on their website

  • +3

Great deal, time to buy a car now!

    • 124 of these bargains and you'll be able to redeem a free return trip to Europe too!

  • +1

This seems a bit dodgy, goes via Microsoftonline page? Anyone had success?

    May just be paranoid

    • +1

      Probably Azure services or similar.

  • +2

Getting the session has expired message here too.

    • +3

      Huh?

    • +2

Why would it necessarily have an adverse effect on a credit report?
It could do absolutely nothing as well (ie. neutral effect).

    • +1

      No it does not
I have one and it has a 5000 credit limit
      not one hit
      Stop spreading MISINFORMATION

    • +3

      This is fake news.
      You're fake news.

      • +1

        ^^President Trump is that you?
What are you doing on OzBargains, you got a whole Twitter account to manage.

    • +1

      Agree

Company I work for, idiot in our invoicing dept accidently faxed the request sheet twice to get security booked.

They only sent one guard but charged us twice. Refused to refund the second charge even though they didn't send a second guard. Currently sits with our legal dept, fighting back/forth from their Indian hq.

      • -2

        Never had an issue
        Always cheaper than secure
Not sure how somethig cheaper than Secure is a rip off
Brisbane rates are good and I am finding a lot of secure is now Wilson
        5000 credit limit each month

        • Cheaper than secure?? Not in Melbourne CBD. Certainly not their earlybird options..

        • Definitely not cheaper than Secure..

        • -2

          @AG1304x:

          They are for me
          Much cheaper
          I don't give a toss about melbourne

    • I am part Indian and part Chinese, and so i am doubly offended by your statement.

Hang on, i guess i can only be half offended each, and so 1/2 + 1/2 = 1.

OK, i am deeply though singly offended that you would criticise profits going to corrupt regimes in India and China instead of fat bastard Australians.

      • +3

Nothing wong with being a fat bastard Australian

  • I joined last month. Damnit!

    • +4

If only there was a way to create a second account…

      • I know, right?

  • +2

Useless for ACT, none of the car parks here are Wilson One :(

    • Yeah this sucks. I pay them at least $55 a week and could be getting 275 velocity points per week in other states.

Can't work out why the ACT ones are included.

      • I assume it would require equipment upgrades to accept the cards.

        • It does require a complete overhaul of the control system
They are a PCProx card for the Wilson ONE
much better than secure parking and their horrid magnetic card readers at the exits, takes 4 swipes vs a simple tap and go
secure parking could learn a thing or two from wilson to ease the frustation trying to checkout at the exit with their cards

        • @shawncro 222: So is it likely to come to Canberra at some stage then?

  • Cheaper than secure in Brisbane
I have already racked up a load of points with this card
    very happy

    • Secure always have 30%-50% off codes. Hardly ever see any for Wilson. Secure has been always been cheaper for me this way. However hard to beat a free $50 with Wilson!

      • 30-50% off peak
during the business working week secure is far less friendly
take post office square for example in Brisbane, complete rip off even when pre booked
I'll stick with Wilson, the amount of issues with secure car parks accepting my advantange parker and the fact most of them smell like raw sewage every time I have parked in one is a real turn off for me

NFC and a tap and go system works brilliantly for Wilson

  • Signed up and now I get session timed out every time I go to login, what gives?

  • Car parking?
    This is much more interesting.

    • All hail Mr Trump

      • Wot?

  • +2

    Session Expired!

  • I'll check back Tuesday. Hopefully it's working then.

  • Last night I attempted to sign up, received verification email, clicked create and then got the session expired loop. Today if I try and sign up again with the same details it says that display name is in use. If I log in with the details I used to sign up last night it says

"Oops! It looks like your account has not been set up just yet.

Remember, not all Wilson carparks are Wilson One compatible.
Check that the carpark is on the list before you park.

i managed to prior to posting.

Guess we are now all waiting until Tuesday when Wilson get flooded with calls to fix their website so everyone else can finish the signup. Once that happens looks like will be good to go. The offer is valid on the website.. its the signup process that seems to be faulty. lets home gets fixed sooner rather than later

    • +1

9289 clicks, so assuming around 7500 registrations

  • Has anybody actually got an account setup ? LOL. These guys must be swamped, I bet they are re-thinking the idea now.

  • Any updates?
