    I got to the sign up page finally.
    Can someone answer this question:
    Why does it require our bank account or credit card details?
    Are they going to charge us for a month's parking or something like that? Or is it to have on file? Either case can anyone please comment. 1000 points for giving up such information may not be worth it depending on the answer.
    Also, sorry i have not read the terms and conditions - hoping someone else did!

    • Would like to know the same thing. Used a blank prepaid cc and it said insufficient funds, which means they do deduct something. Could be pre authorization charge though. Couldn't find anything in the t&c

        It charged $0.01 on my card.

    • I wouldn't think that there will be a monthly parking charge. They will charge your card once the $50 runs out for using the parking. Meaning, pay as you book / park.

    Looks like we are good to go with signup now. Website no longer stuck in a loop.

    If you haven't entered in your velocity details you can in account settings under update contact details.

    Has anyone tried signing in with an account they created yesterday or prior? When I do, I get the error "This session has expired, please click here to log back in."

    • Give it at least 24 hours. A lot of us had to wait even longer, more than likely owing to the public holidays.

        I just got an email from Velocity encouraging members to sign up so maybe that's why.

      The page refreshed itself after account creation, maybe 4 times, then ended up on the session expired page.

    It said request submitted and didn't go any further.

    I signed up with a different email address, the site is working now.

    spoke too soon. I go through all the setup questions including Velocity membership number but my old friend popped up when i try to go anywhere after that…

      Same here

      Completed the sign up procedure, had to give a credit or debit card.

      At the end, after clicking submit, it kept me on the page with a message in red at the top. Turned out the message in red was a success message

      Success: Your request has been submitted and pending processing

    Yep also got an email confirming everything , I replied asking the question where we see the credit and when the velocity points will be posted but no reply as yet

    • Me three - took about 30 minutes to get the confirmation email after entering cc details

      • got a response to my query.

        • Have you tried to book though? The Wilson One portal seems to be a different one to their normal booking portal. I tried to book with the normal one but there's no mention of the Wilson One Club. I can login to my Wilson One account.

      Just take a deep breath and give it some time to receive the account activation email from wilson… unless you have nothing better to do than keeping on trying and getting frustrated staring at the "oops…" message.

    When selecting "Apply Now" the form then asks for all contact details along with drivers license number.
    Not really a fan of giving out my drivers license number to be honest.

    "Pending Process" after signing up, after the initial signing up loop. This is the worst sign up experience I've ever seen.

          - it is being processed
          - I have to wait for verification to complete
          - hopefully confirmation will come today or next business day

      • Just spoke with their Customer care and invoices are generated monthly.
        $50 credit will be applied on first invoice and velocity points in May.

        • yep, it seems the card acts like an e-tag(toll account), i would say in a month everyone will be $50 in credit if they dont use it before then.. so after that when you swipe your card at the carpark it will deduct from the $50 credit you have

      Yes it has!!

      Wilson incorrectly sorted the CSV when merging names to do a mail send, OMFG the person who did it needs to learn to excel again!

      Click on Update your Preferences at the bottom of the e-mail. Everything is right except the first name, so I changed it from David to my actual name. Maybe this is their way of weasling out of giving us the Velocity points …

      There is no real breach of privacy details as, apart from the incorrect first name, everything else is correct. The only leak of details is that I now know somewhere out there is a person named Peter who also signed up for a Wilson One account.

    This is where this might stuff up with the Velocity points:

    Their IT team have done some very basic fails here

  • Hmmm… Strange, I too got the "Success: Your request has been submitted and pending processing." after completing the sign up and also had the $0.01 authorisation deduction.

    Read many of the comments here so decided to sit tight and wait. I haven't received any further communication from Wilson One.

    Today, I logged into the Wilson One site and noticed that I have a "PA0###### - PlatinumVIC" members service agreement.

    Also "No records found" in Invoice & Payment History.

    Does this mean it's active?

      Yes, I believe it is active. If you have the agreement number, I think that means your application has been processed. I received my card in the mail today and I see something similar when I log in. The "No records found" in Invoice & Payment History simple means you haven't started using it to park yet!

  • I got a call from Wilson asking to confirm I have two applications. .
    I obviously explained and they did seem keen to get me aboard even told me my names had to be identical to get the bonus points.

    So fingers crossed. It seems to be technical issues on their side. Kinda feel sorry for the staff that have to deal with it. I'm sure they would have copped a lot of abuse

  • It looks like my account has been set up as I am able to login. However I never received the confirmation email saying so and that the cards have been sent out. I can see that there are 2 device IDs assigned in my account. Can't remember but I may have selected 2 cards, 1 for each car.

    I can't see the $50 credit anywhere. Is it supposed to be there on my login page?

    Anyone else with the same experience?

    • The $50 credit will be applied to your next invoice and the Velocity FF points (if you are a VFF member) will be applied early May according to the "Oops - We're sorry" email apologising for the name mix-up, so a lack of these at the moment is not indicative of your account not working.

        • No worries. I applied on the 18th and received my card on the 24th.

          Also, it seems they have stuffed up the names and linked them with the wrong email addresses again with the new confirmation emails, so if your name is "Craig", I may have your email and your cards are on their way… lol

  • Confirming I got a call today (possibly one yesterday afternoon too). They show up as Private when calling.
    I missed them so I rang back and left a message. Someone did call back and quickly. I've forgotten her name but she was helpful and friendly despite all the back log she must be dealing with.
    She sorted out my double application quickly and with no fuss.

    I can log in now. Credit is not visible, but 26144073772 says that gets applied to our next invoice, and the Velocity points in May

      They're both under one account, so you'll probably just get one lot of credit and Velocity FF points. Having two cards just means you can park two cars at the same time using Wilson One, with both charged to the same account.

    Anyone has received 2 cards even though we only apply for one ? Is that mean we receive 2 credits and double points ?

    • I received two cards but one with my name and other without the name.
      I don't know why two cards received today.

      • Check your account online where you'll see the attached cards.. they seem to be sending 2 xards per account for some reason. The entire program is garbage anyway so you'll more than likely close it once you've used up the free credit and junk the cards.
