      They'll send/give you a SIM.

  • This seems like a decent offer for a relative who is a student and with telstra. Has anyone gotten this cheaper than the $40 listed price? Do you have to renegotiate after the 12 month term?

  • If only they did data free streaming.

    • Apple Music, NRL, AFL and Netball only

      • Yep, I know, and that sucks.

And as if they still do $1000 calls. C'mon Telstra, get with the times.

  • Does this work with 25% friends and family discount?

regret going back on telstra thinking their network was superior. IT'S NOT! Getting 3g at richmond station during peak commute and no internet in the loop which I used to be able to get on virgin 4g. I work melbourne cbd and when indoors it's hardly picking up a signal and being put to 3g aka can't use the net. Going back to optus soon as 12month is over. And for cheaper too.

    • hmm im thinking of switching to Telstra in hopes of better connectivity. I'm currently with Virgin and i'm only getting 'okay' speeds :/

inside my home i get 3 or 4 bars of 5 bars

    • What phone do you use?

What a rip off, Telstra has boost Au which is owned buy Telstra and they offer $50 per month for 11gig unlimited calls and text and you can call 10 international numbers as well. That's buy Telstra with there boost Au division.

    • +3

The $50 plan by boost is 7gb anytime + 1gb every weekend so it's not a 10gb any time data plan. Obviously it's also $10 bucks more and does not include 6 months apple music membership nor any of the other goodies mentioned in the OP.

How is this computed to a "rip off" to you?

  • why does the website say 5GB + 5GB.

    Does anybody know ?

    • +1

Because the plan comes with 5GB + 5GB bonus data

  • When would this offer expire or is it an ongoing thing as long as you are verified with Unidays?

I have about 3 months left with an optus sim only plan and have had enough their billing non-sense, if they have this ongoing it would be sweet otherwise am tempted to just pay the 3 months out anyhow.

  • apparently limited to one account per customer

  • Does the $125 Cash Rewards Cash Back deal work with this???

    • No…

Cashback is only available when you take up a new phone on a 24 month Go Mobile Plus plan and handset repayment.
