Is this meant as some sort of sardonic parody of sock puppeting? :)

      • I was just trying to compare the deal to another store…

    • Buy 2, one for salt and one for pepper

The metal grinding wheel will rust if used for salt. Salt and pepper grinders typically use metal for pepper and plastic grinding wheels for salt (or plastic for both).

      • We've got a Marlux salt grinder which uses metal wheels, and has lasted for at least 10 years without rusting. Then again, we live inland, and it's not been kept in a humid environment, so maybe we've just been lucky…

Hi Rep,can u tell me where is this thing retailing for $40 according to you.

good for 4 dollars i guess, gets a meh from me :)

  • This brand comes with a lifetime warranty, who'll honour this if something goes wrong?

    • The manufacturer, like any other warranty

  • "only $15 shipping" Is this ebay?

    • "Buy as much as you like and only pay $15 in shipping."

That is a $15 shipping cap.

The shipping for one grinder is $7 or you can ship as many grinders as you want for no more than $15

  • Include shipping of $7 in title = total cost of $11 per item. Retailing for $40 where?

  • AS a way of comparison, Aldi had huge 35cm wooden grinders for $6 (with superior ceramic grinding wheels) back in March.

is it just me or does this site look exactly like COTD ?

    • +1

Nah, it's not just you dude; that's disturbingly COTD like! :o

I was just thinking the same thing.
      kinda makes me abit suss.

like when you get led to those phishing scam websites that look just like your banks internet banking webpage, then the next day you wake up with $0 in your bank account and your wife leaves you for a another man because you can no longer support for her and your 3 children, then you loose your job and start on a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol and finally realise you've hit rock bottom when you vomit on a stripper and end up crying yourself to sleep in the bouncers arms as he is throwing you out the door.

      ….or so ive heard

      shifty eyes

      • And all you get to keep from the marriage is the trusty pepper mill.

        • ROFL, you got negged for that tomsco??? Wow…must've been some vindictive ex-wife who lost the pepper mill in the divorce settlement! :p

      • Ah, that old chestnut! ;)

Could be worse, remember what happened to our old mate Charlie the Unicorn! :p
