Free Whole Chicken on Delivery Orders $25+ | 1/2 Rippa Roll, Sml Chips, 250ml Coke - $5 @ Red Rooster

940

A few points:
1) yes, online prices are a couple of bucks more expensive than in-store to compensate for the 'free' delivery
2) yes of course you can get food cheaper from Coles/WW, but they don't do cooked chips and you can't arrange it same day
3) whole chicken is worth ~$13

Previous deals for this skipped the drink in favour of a gravy, now you get a combo :)

FYI, from the T&Cs this is also available from Menulog / Eatnow but then the minimum spend increases to $40.

Also limited to 35,000 free chickens across the promotional period.

35,000 free chickens for the one order?

Thanks spackbace, you rocked my world. I'm a bit crook and feeling lazy. This sorts dinner and checks the bargain box.

  • I'm not sure if it's my local red roster but the chicken is always salty.

    • Mine too! But we combine the chicken with coleslaw to make a roast chicken salad, so it's not too bad.

Ordered tonight, amaze glaze deal for $29.95 + a free chicken, not bad.

I have seen that Red rooster roasted chicken is one of the most tasteless chicken. Why wouldnt people get charcoal chicken or perhaps $8 coles/woolies chicken

    • +8

      You "have seen".

Why don't you try it, and then you can give a first hand opinion.

Chicken at my Woolies and Coles is generally pretty ordinary.

I prefer Red Rooster or Henny Penny.

    • Red rooster tastes a lot better than Coles or Woolworths at least in Newcastle

    • +1

My daughter has food intolerances and gets a reaction from Coles/Woolies chicken but not Red Rooster (likely due to less additives in the basting), so we eat it all the time. I think it tastes better too.

    1) yes, online prices are a couple of bucks more expensive than in-store to compensate for the 'free' delivery

Seems it'd make more sense if they just charged a delivery fee than hiding it in the price of various food…
